just got off the phone with verizon and they do not have FIOS for my block but i can get VErizon. so i have them installing the triple play next week! got my outdoor channels lol all for under 100 a month, cant beat that... thanks guys!

i would not even have thought to look into FIOS, it says its in my area up there. im def going to shoot them a call. i hope the prices are pretty good! lol i dont hear the best things about TWC and was thinking of either direct or dish. im more concerned with tv and internet for now but if i can find a place with a triple play id be happy. otherwise, the wife can worry about the phone lol

i have not used lone wolf but when i see the design, that rubbery strap looks like it can get hung up when climbing... a guy i knew confirmed it was a bit harder to climb certain trees with it. i think summit makes a solid unit and the strap design i think is better. Lone wolf makes great stands especially lock ons but their climb designs doesnt seem like it would be easy to climb most pine trees...

i am bumping this up since iam moving up there and i want cable, internet and phone but DO NOT want to spend an arm and a leg for it. what do you guys recommend? does anyone break up their service? like go to one place for cable and another for internet and phone? i saw some good deals with Direct TV but i have to call in for a price for phone and internet.

Iam officially considered an upstate guy? Lol We closed on our new home in Chemung county today! We are almost moved in and then The un packing starts. Very excited! Cracked open a bottle of moet we have been saving for the right time for 5 years and had our first home cooked Italian meal in the new home. It's been a bit of a life change since we sold the house on LI and decided to make this move but it feels right. The hard part was finding the right house... Just curious what others input is on the two in regards to which sides see more action and generally what times of the season. For the most part in colder temperature im sure there is more action on the south facing sides. In one of my spots upstate i hunt and have access to 100 acres but its on a north facing hill, it generally takes quite some time for the sun to hit my tree and stays quite cold on that side... Opening day i noted 16 deer total at once in 2 different fields across the road which are on a south side hill while my side was dead quite and nothing coming out into the field i was hunting.
