I went back through all these post and all I hear over and over is how the Anti Gun Advocates come out of the wood work every time this happens but yet 90% of post are from Gun advocates. Hmmm . This lady just finished her 8th season of putting a tag on a P&Y buck so not only am I more intelligent than you but I am confident my trophy room is more impressive than yours. I hate to act so arrogant but for a blow hard like you its easy. so we are the morons to reacting to mindless anti gun rants from the likes of you, when in fact my first reaction to this horror story was shock but then the real shock came when anti gun take away everyones gun crap started within the very first reports of this sad story and even worse on this site where you would think people would have some regard for the second ammendment. just keep going Popit your and the other guy are perfect examples of how the anti gun lobby thinks and acts, keep slinging mud and acting out of instinct like some kind of animal, works well for us who want to preserve the right to keep and bear arms.

I keep getting the feeling that there are way too many people who welcome the news of each of these tragedies because each one serves as fuel for their anti-gun agendas. They seem to come out of the wood-work all re-invigorated and eager to take another chop out of that 2nd amendment that has caused them so much angst. They are always eager to exploit these things as ways to get their next shot of further gun control. They are content to place "feel-good" arguments against a chunk of steel. It saves them from expending intellectual energy toward the real causes and cures of the diseased society that has spawned the evil people that commit these atrocities.
Wow and your a moderator of this site? You get the feeling people welcome news of these types of tragedies??? Crawl

Talk about missing my point. Keep up the argument. I unlike these children will have many more days to state my views{ I am all for the 2nd amendment} but I believe this day should not be for that.

In light of today's events. I find it offensive that many of you have taken this tragedy as an opportunity to use these poor defenseless innocent children as a vehicle for you to spew garbage and to promote your personal agendas.
I don't want to hear a debate on God or the NRA. Forget your Politically correct comment
s for 24 hours. Instead, think of the 20 beautiful children who will not be coming home tonight, and the parents that will never see their children reach another milestone. And the Hero teachers and staff that tried to shield these children.

Check some of the sites that review cams. Wildgame is alwyas at the bottom. I bought 2 over the years and both were junk. I would never buy another one. There are so many other good ones on the market.

I used in one in my treestand for a couple years but it was hard to move around and get it unzipped if a deer came by but it definitly kept me warmer. I bought a product called the Warmbag last year and have to say it was money well spent. My days of basically suffering sitting in the stand on really cold days are over.

Thanks njg0621, I will need luck on my side to get a crack at him. I kind of hope they are trying to bust my stones or else they have no idea how to score deer. Mid 130's???? Yeah maybe those G 2'S are only 8 inches long and not 12-13 lol. I have noticed that trend on this website often where a guy will post a pic of a buck looking for some estimates on score and there are always some that post scores way low. Not sure why that is.

I stated in my 1st post I felt the buck was mid 150's. I was just curious as to what eveyone else thought. I know the buck is bigger than something in the 130's because of what his shed scored last year. I have to admit I was surprised anyone could look at that buck and think 130's. Just curious, what do you think he scores?

No he is alot bigger than that. As I said in a previous post, his right side shed scored 63 last year and that is always his weaker side. He rack this year is noticeably larger than last.

I have question,, if this deer is 5.5 years old ???How old was he in the pic dated 2007????.. He would have to been at 3.5 at that point, which would put him at 8.5 according to dates on pictures... Maybe I am missing something here,,

Great buck. glad to see you posted this pic. Call me crazy but I sure think it looks a lot like the buck I have pics of. His G3 on right side is longer but brows look similiar. Mine has a split brow and a couple extra points on bottom.

I have shot 7 bucks I have scored over 125. I am sure my scores are not exact but fairly close. No I would not get it scored. Thats just me. Not saying its right or wrong. Everybody has their reasons. I try to fly under the radar as much as possible. Seems like some guys around where i live dont want to put in all the time it takes and would prefer to just {tag along} for lack of a better term. Buddy of mine shot a big state land buck 2 years ago and did not keep his mouth shut . Now he is paying the price. This summer he ran into guys and saw trail cams where before he never saw a person in there before. Great buck by the way. Looks bigger than 143 gross to me.Have you shot many bucks that would measure over 110"?
If you killed a 150" buck you wouldn't get it measured for NYS BB club?

wmig2 Funny thing is I am having this discussion about score and I could care less about it also. I never have my deer scored. Great buck you shot. Just looking at your deer I would say he is 140' all day . Not many 8pts get that big. Congrats.Very impressive buck he's a shooter. I would say 140's.The score doesn't make any relevance in my opinion. That's a trophy whitetail for N.Y. Here'a pic of my best and I never had it scored. I would say he's mid to high 140's gross. He has a broken brow tine and is palmented. Good luck

sits in trees. We are on the same page. A couple guys saying he is 130's. I dont see anyway if you know anything about scoring deer where you can come up with 130,s The one guy said he had small brows and would be in 130's and that people thought his 8 was 170's so I checked his pic out really nice 8 but no where near 170. I think this buck is bigger than they one he shot. Another guy wrote he had an 18 incg spread. I was like are they looking at the same pics. He does have a big body also. Not the biggest body size but he is 5.5 years old.the only way that buck could be less than 150 is if he has an unusually small body which could be hard for someone other than yourself to judge. I,ve sized blackbear by looking at where they stand in a pic then compare that to a tree which is close in the pic and have come pretty close.
But im pretty sure that being a NY buck with a NY buck body hes a 150 or better. iffen he was a Florida buck with a 90lb body then he would only be a 110 or 120inch...
Best thing to do is shoot him then take the measurements....lol!!

I guess we agree to disagree. I can almost say for sure he gets to 150 gross. Again, I have his right shed from last year. It is 63 inches. Now he is bigger and has a few extra points off his bases.

For the record while that remark may be "goofy" it is not anywhere near the level of your remark yesterday inferring people on this site wish for the kind of tragic news from Friday. To know that you think is really dissapointing. Most of your post I always thought sounded pretty spot on
