    I don’t only shoot antlers but I prefer cold weather if Im going to harvest a doe and usually pass because I don’t need to live off deer meat,, I also don’t want to do the work most the time,,, so seeing does and knowing you can kill them is like a successful hunt in my mind and I guess its all where you are in your life and your hunting... Its like the old candy bar commercial some days you feel like nut,,, some days you don’t..

    I use Tomcat under the hood of the tractor and four wheeler seat where ever I can stick a block also under the camp serval times a year no more problem..

    Uhmmm lets see,,, I get up in the wee hours of the morning to freeze my butt off to not hunt for antlers.. Some of theards are really getting silly..

    I have a total of about 20 trees not concerned about fruit at this point and am I aware of picking the blossoms so as not to produce.. Next year going to plant pear trees as they seem to like later in the season as they get softer.. Pumpkins and squash end of next month along with clover ..

    Picked up six more apple trees at Home Depot they where half priced for some reason that makes a total of twelve new trees this year at hunting camp..

    We had a den at work a few years ago at the edge of a grass field the pups would play at the mouth of the den and you could get within 20 ft of them,,, I knew what they where going to become but at that stage of life I would have felt guilty taking them out,, fully grown no problem..

    Depending on how drastic it will over the coming years cause the under growth to become very thick,, the deer love it but becomes hard to hunt and see them over time.. Well at least one piece of property I hunt Ive had that experience....
