Well government law prohibits it, but sure I guess the moon landing could have been faked to right? I've worked with the government, they can't even manage the post office, if you think they have the ability to pull off an illegal gun registry without a single leak to prove it... well I don't know what to say to convince you otherwise. exactly, all non private sales (this has to be 98% of sales is my guess) and for all us New Yorkers are already logged of course i'm not clicking a link that looks like that wait so it's illegal now, but it does exist already? And again, your argument is based on what might happen, not the bill itself? Am I getting this all straight? You've very much lost me. I think this is the key. I don't even disagree that the end game is clear. But we need to intelligently communicate and debate this topic here and now. The tin foil hat and bogyman argument instantly dismisses you from any real and honest gun control argument. We are better off using gun control laws and examples where they already exist to show and prove how these national laws do not work.

do you have a target by next friday? I obviously haven't followed this stock at all but will have to close sometime before 3/26

is there a registry now for the guns we've bought through FFL's? No. No there isn't. Please try harder. anti and pro references https://giffords.org/lawcenter/gun-laws/policy-areas/owner-responsibilities/registration/#:~:text=There is no comprehensive national,of firearms or firearm owners. https://www.pewpewtactical.com/national-gun-registry/

I think I shared a little earlier that I'm not necessarily opposed to more thorough background checks or closing the loophole allowing the private sale of firearms without background checks. In theory, should these additional measures work, less criminals would have access to firearms. And that's where my argument and rebuttal builds. It's theory only. Decades of data show us that gun violence is generally committed with illegal firearms (excluding suicides)*. That gun control laws don't do much of anything at all to curb violence and only hurt law abiding citizens like you and I. For example, my AR is now borderline dangerous because I can't remove my mag in the event of a double feed. Yet a criminal can still obtain and purchase one, just like a criminal would obtain illegal drugs. This law makes many white suburban moms feel better. Like they've done something to stop school shootings. And that's what the democratic party is all about. Feelings. Kids are still in cages and that kid in Atlanta could still have bought a gun even with these rules in place. I'd close with this. For sure this bill may be prevent some firearms from reaching the hands of those with bad intentions, but those truly bent on carnage will find a way. So all we're doing is adding more cost and redtape to a government already buried in debt. *always call out the bs gun death statistics that include suicides btw. The anti's love these stats and always includes them in their gun violence data.

I wasn't trolling. I'm on your side. But I also think our best defense is a well informed argument. You may very well have this conversation with someone in the near future who is on the other side. What is your defense to the question? It can't be "it's just the beginning and I'm afraid of the future." You immediately lose any credibility.

Alright bizz I'm in with a 3/26 120c @$5.9. You buy me a beer or I buy you one depending on how this goes haha

an underlying fundamental issue still lies with being able to spend it. Sure opportunities are emerging, but it's still rare to be able to go out and buy a lambo with bitcoin.
-
my apple calls are killing it. the gme 3/19 180P that I was too scared to buy last week is up $600...
-
I could probably use a new call or 2, but actually think I wont be buying anything this year... I always say that though and then $200 disappears somewhere haha

Sadly I think you're right. And many of the puppet master realize this. That's why you see popular culture cancel everything slightly offensive to a demographic out of the left side of their mouth, while simultaneously shaming the hunter, redneck, gun owner, country boy on the right. I love to call this double standard out when I see it. "we are the party of tolerance" sees picture of a guy who legally killed a black bear "I hope you and your family die" So they continue to perpetuate that living a simple life with your family, living off the land and owning some guns and a bible is evil and bad. However living in an urban slum with your Koran is not to be joked at or looked down upon. And honestly the end goal is that the number of us country boys with guns dwindles. It's not going to be us that go out, we don't care how they think or feel about us, but it may be our kids kids. More videogames, more reliance on tech and less of a need to learn to fish, hunt and garden. So no longer a need for a gun till it dwindles. Do the best to raise your kids and grandkids right. If the pandemic taught us anything, it's that you could lose your food source just like that.

no you're good. Some add legs and various strikes and dates. It's easy (as you know) to just add quantities. It's a whole other thing to have like a 3/19 120c, a 6/19 125c, 9/19 130c etc. You'd have to manage them all independently and many day traders do. congrats btw
-
gotcha. I was going to mention that you may have a problem if you were playing that many options haha.

20 different contracts or just a qty of 20?

yeah sometimes I sit for a while, but truth is, they're active as hell gathering nuts in the fall. In the winter, especially in the snow there's just no reason for them to be out. They're just eating out of their stash.
