friend gave me a Hawkins 45 long gun need lots of cleaning barrel was filled with rust he shot it and never cleaned it took me about one hour to get it all out now i need to get some 45 round balls and head to the range with it I'll start low around 40 grands and work up with it i'm starting to feel like Daniel Boon just need some buck skin to ware lol

yes i am shooting round ball and patch seems my gun shoots better with 90 grs its all ways in the kill zone

I bin taking my Hawkins to the range once a month for 3 months now and its shooting right on target i load 90 grs. of FFFg at 50 yards and it is hitting inside the kill zone every time I hoping to get a deer with it this season

today 8/3/15 I took my grand son snapper fishing for the first time first I had to find a bait shop in Islip not easy went to one on mountauck hwy had a sign out front WE SELL BAIT stopped there closed took a ride to another place yep closed so I finely took a ride it west islip salt water anglers and bought my bait all ways go go there worth the ride back to Islip and fishing he so much enjoyed it. He caught four snappers all of them about 6 inches or shorted he fishing for about 30 maybe 40 minuets then to B K for his lunch [kids meal] best fishing trip I had in a long time cant wait to take him back out again

its an 8 foot rod says 6 weight action never fished it but as far as i can tell its light should be really good for the rivers up state like the beaver kill call me if you would like to see the rod

so today i went and got my duck stamp when i got home it just did not feel the same with out OZ waiting for me at the front door . This is going to be a hard season for me . I do have the new puppy at a year old and having some retrieving from last year I am hoping he can step up to the plate and at lest get some ducks this season last year was hard trying to get him to bring us the ducks we still have lots of work a head of us

Well looks like today is the end of a grate hunting partner Sir Oz is going to be going to the vet he no longer can stand on his own he was a grate hunting partner and friend he will be missed by me and the family also the many friends he made while hunting with the retrieving there many birds also squerals and rabbits

i can't say any thing all i can see is that ORANGE TIE against camo it just don't belong there dum ass red necks

I use a 20 Gage easy and quick kill on the run or just hiding in the brush

It graduation time. If you get balloons do not reless them they wind up in our waters killing fish seals turtles and more. June 11 while fishing on the beach I pulled at lest 65 balloons from the bay. Cut the balloons and put them in the trash. Pass this on to others.
