    Well I am pretty excited to spring turkey hunt this year. I hunted turkey once in the fall for a day with no luck. Unfortunitly I don't have private property or much scouting time available where I will be hunting in the spring. I no there are turkey In the area where I am going in green county. Am i wasting my time setting out a decoy and trying to call one in, in the spring? Or do you need to 100 percent find the roost and hunt that way? I've heard the calling isn't so effective in the fall. Any tips would help. Thanks guys

    Well the supernova with comfortech and with steady grip are same price. But the comfortech stock alone is 350 and the pistol grip stock alone is 150. So I will purchase the comfortech then probably just order the steady grip stock to have next month

    I guess I will just head the the store and try a few on. Just can't decide on pistol grip or none. Just love my benellis that's why I was leaning towards the super nova

    ^ same which is why I'm looking to keep it down below 800 bucks. Pretty decided on the supernova, just can't decide on the steady grip or comfortech stock instead. 24 inch barrels seems to be most popular with turkey hunters correct?

    I could. Just wanted somthing with a slighter shorter barrel like 24. It's also shadow grass , I would like the real tree for turkey. I like a designated gun for each animal haha I no I'm crazy. I use the sbe2 almost everday during duck season

    Looking to purchase a turkey hunting shotgun this week so I am all ready for May. I will probably only get out like 3 or 4 times a year for turkey. I no a semi is not needed for them and Iam not looking to spend more then 800 bucks. I have a sbe2 and a super sport from benelli and love them. So I was thinking of getting a real tree supernova. Is this a good gun for turkey? Also steady grip ( pistol grip ) or no steady grip. What do you guys think.

    Really want to give coyote hunting a try. WAs just going to head up near greene county with a call and sit and see if anything comes in. Any tips ? Thanks

    Sorry to keep bothering you. Your the only one I've found to know the area. Looks like I'm going to go with blackhead off conservation trail like you said. I am trying to find conservation trail on a map. Is this trail off a main rd? Hunting is permitted right off the trail?

    Heading up for to my uncles place at ski windham in the beginning of oct for some turkey. It is greene county. I hunted elm ridge wild forest last spring with no luck.. i saw turkey every where but not where i could hunt. Anyone hunt greene county? dont no much about the area looking for a spot i could try. If not ill be back in elm ridge and hope the fall works better then the spring for me.

    Switching to my benelli this year for spring turkey. So looking to purchase a choke. I no full and extra full are recommended. In ny we can only use steel shot correct for turkey? Most full and extra full chokes don't allow steel.

    Why do some of the max 4 patterns look like shadow grass pattern? Or are some of the max 4 pattern guns look lighter then others . Did they ever make a shadow grass pattern for the super black eagle 2? There site only says max 4 , real tree, and black and walnut

    I have heard of a lot of guys feeding the ducks to other wild life to kinda of " keep it in nature." And this way you no someone is enjoying it

    one gun shop says the a400 blows benelli out of the water, the other says benelli blows the a400 out of the water haha

    i shot an a400 the other day and it felt really good. though i didnt put 3.5 loads through it. But it wouldnt eject the rounds out of the magazine for some reasoning when i had to clear the gun. I will shoot the sbe eagle this weekend. I just cant make up my mind.

    hmm and i have heard the a400 jamming with 3.5 loads. i may just have to flip a coin
