I've used the 2 blade rage. Only input is make sure you are shooting 55 + lbs. Never had a pass threw shooting 50lbs. Went back to slick tricks fixed and have gone threw both shoulders

I was lucky enough to get a nys bear with the bow last year. Any other successful bear hubter get their havest patch or age results back???.

I am a licensed leashed tracking dog handler in NYS. You can not bring your dog in the woods to hunt with you. I see your point about wanting the do near you. But you will have to hunt alone. Deer search requires your dog to be certified. You do not need to have your dog certified with the dec. Also you do not need to belong to deer search even though ever deer search member thinks you do. I tried joining them and said I was already licensed and had tracked successfully 45 deer they looked at me like I was crazy. Said I couldn't do that in nys. Oh well no I just help close friends and family and that keeps me plenty busy.

Well one great summer projected finished. Time spent building this with my Dad and Brother is one of the many reasons I love this sport. Can't wait for someone to break the ice in this bad boy!!!

Yes I learned the hard way in a pop up tent-----that sucked!!! Sat dish that's a great idea. Need solar power!!

Yes putting small heater with oxygen sensor. Just pitting cellutex sheets inside. I'm sure we won't need to much heat.

Update. ..windows in and caulked. Steps in. Just have to put up railing and iinsulation and we are ready for Gun!!!!

Going big and built to last. It's 5x5 and can fit two guys/some grand kids!!!

Update. Windows made and installed. Started stairs.... this only leaves caulk, insulation, and some stain...We're geting there.

Started as a little clearing In a creek bottom to an obsession. The though of making a 1/2 acre plot in the woods. 3 years of clearing and digging stumps. It is a reality. Now ready to be sprayed and tilled in a few weeks. This is going to pay off. I believe firmly deer are killed in the offseason with hard work and scouting.

So here is the process so far of building dad the best hunting shack for those cold /wet/windy/snowy days. Been talking about this for years and have finally broke the ice. Still have finishing touches left but excited to have a place for dad and the grandkids.

Bear is all done and I'm one happy customer. Glad I opted for 3/4 vs rug

Basment is finished and have a room with deer heads but I wanna look at it everday

Did you diy? If so would love to know details. Did newfoundland but Alaska is high on the list and very expensive.
