hey guys in a perfect world, pheasants would not need to be stocked, but they do. If guys want to hunt them, they have the right to do so, however enybody else feels is personal opinion. I do not hunt pheasant, I am a big rabbit hunter, and I wish the state would stock rabbits in areas that hardly have any. Good luck to all..

Geno, I am kind of wrapped up working with young dogs, so deer scouting will happen when I start rabbit hunting.
Sunday not good for me, as bring my kids to see Nonno and Nonna for sunday dinner, but any other eve is good. Maybe we can do something in between us, I think you said you lived in Suffolk, not sure though, me and Karp pretty close to each other.

I just really started working my dogs hard again, nice to get out again, alot bugs though. Have some new areas I will be hunting in Orange county really looking forward to.

Hey guys, I know alot of hunting properties are under water, especially upstate, but how did everyone make out with their homes? I heard upstate is a disaster area, a friend of mine in Middleburg, schoharie county says it is like the end of the world, with the army there, no drinkable water and no electric, and alot rain on the way
Knock on some serious wood , had only minor flooding here in Bellmore, and minor issues with the house. Good Luck to all.

I stood in old town , it 15 minutes from bangor. If you scouting for guides for deer, just some advise, they have had 2 bad snow years and have lost like half their deet herd, as a matter of fact the guy I stay with, deer hunts in conn, as there are more hare and moose in maine, then deer. Either way have a nice trip, it is gods country up there, I am going back in december, have a week reserved, just need company for the trip.

gino it is very fun, just about gave up on deer hunting because of rabbit hunting and the dogs.
Did you ever try rabbit hunting?
maybe me, you and karp can get out one day this year after you guys tag out.

Karp, yes they like double the size of li rabbits, mostly because of their long legs though

Hey guys just got back from a family vacation in Maine, was able to run dogs every day for about 2 hours, with a good friend on mine, Stan Gomm. Every video has footage of hare crossing, can not waite to hunt there in December. Anybody thinking of hunting in Maine and not sure where to go ,contact me. Enjoy the videos and thanks for watching.

Karp, my customers usually call direct after we are done, so dont know if would help mentioning infinity. They do nice railings though.

Karp ,I in home improvement, but not railings, you loookin to do pvc or metal, if metal, I may have a guy for you. If you do pvc would recomend Rose Fence.

Johnathan, I was hoping to join, but have not yet, I only rabbit hunt on the club, and money is tight and not sure what will happen. I only went out to the club 2x last season to rabbit hunt for one reason or another, so not sure as of yet. Did you rejoin yet? It is ashame all of the horror stories last season, hope things are better this season.

Hey muggzwest, I do not think alot guys gonna give their hunting spots up, as almost impossible to come by on long island. I grew in queens and live in bellmore now. I guess you wanted to hunt deer. But here are some general ideas.
1. Hire a guide , on long island I would recommend DC Outdoor Adventures, you can google for his info , Dennis is a great guy, and hunts upstate and long island.
2. Google dec ny website and search long island hunting. or whatever county upstate you like
3. Google rod and gun clubs in suffolk county or upstate, in suffolk there are a few, birds unlimited, and pheasant run, to name a few, but again you can research online.
You can also drive long island and knock on doors, but expect to hear alot of the same, NO, NO.
