  1. T/C Encore in 30-06. It's a handful, but I shoot the Remington Managed Recoil ammo and it really helps with the recoil.
  2. I disagree. My Encore is a tackdriver with my load. Put a EZ Glide sabot in there and my groups go all over the paper. My Encore does not like the EZ glide sabots.
  3. This will be my 3rd year with it and it impresses me everytime I shoot it. Ease of cleaning is a big plus. A Hoppes patch down the barrel a couple times, a clean patch to follow it up and you are done. That easy. I have done alot of range time and out of my Encore (and alot of my hunting partners use the same load out of various rifles) I am shooting 90 grains of BH. Some research I have done says that is the equivalent to 115 grains of loose 777. I am going to work up a new load when I get to the range changing from the SST/ML which I have been shooting to a Hornady XTP. Just not sure if I want to use a 240 Gr, 250 Gr or a 300 Gr.
  4. This is true due to the design of some breechplugs. The website contains all the information needed to determine if it will work in a specific gun. http://www.blackhorn209.com/files/pdf/brochure.pdf
  5. Try 2 50 gr 777 pellets, 300 Gr. Hornady XTP w/ a 777 209 primer.
  6. Blackhorn 209. Find Some. Try it. Never look back.
  7. Bore Butter is the quickest way to a pitted barrel next to not cleaning the moisture out of it.
  8. Go with Blackhorn 209 and you will never look back.
