    We have written letters to people that owned a couple parcels of land before and that was the only way to try and contact them. When you look up properties online it just gives a address no phone numbers, and now days alot of people have just cel phones and no home phones. I received a call last spring wanting to purchase some land off me to have for a camp site, and I said not for sale.

    In Tompkins County a few years ago someone cut a fence and let out a bunch of Buffalo . A couple guys shot on of them near Mecklenburg and they got in big trouble.

    In Schuyler County you get a coupon and give that to the gun dealer and can take the pistol home that day, you have 10 days to add it too your permit, you just can not use the gun till it is added.

    I put my permit application in on Jan 10th of 2012 and received it 9 weeks later in March of 2012 in Schuyler County and is id full concealed. It was $10 for the application, $10 to have a picture taken, and I think $105 for the finger prints. Hunter 49, I though there was a law in NYS that the must let you know with in 6 months on you permit.

    I carry a muzzleloader and shotgun all the time when I hunt 8J. I will use the MZL from the stand it it is a long range shot, and the shotgun when I am walking to and from stand.

    Aaron its funny you mention the beauty of the state. Up here in the FInger Lakes area on the wine trails, houses and especially land area going nuts in price. People out of the area are buying up the land and houses in this area driving the prices up. Locals think people are crazy paying $200,000 or more for a house with a few acres of land but that is nothing for people from the City, NJ and Long Island. I have started to see local land hit $6000 to $10,000 a acre now do to all the winery's.

    I think FastEddie has been trespassing and poaching deer , I had that deer on my trail cam last week. I guess no since of going out to my tree stand on monday now. LOL

    7J, I think you are wrong on the earn a buck. That program is for Cornell University property. You have to shoot 2 does before you can take a buck.

    I took a leak right out of my tree stand one time bow hunting and 10 minutes later a red fox walked with in feet of my tree I was in and never even spooked.

    You have two awesome funnels. I would setup in either of them, even if you have to move in the funnel alittle future to find a nice tree to hang a stand from.I really like the H funnel atlittle better with the corn near by.

    I would be hunting that corn field edge during the afternoon for the first couple weeks of season if the time is correct o the camera

    I would just cut a tree for a post or get a t post and put it out in the middle of that bean field and see what you get on it.

    OK, did everyone forget what your learned in school. YOU DO NOT ELECT THE PRESIDENT. The does Electoral College does. You just place a vote and hope the Electoral College goes with the peoples vote.

    I would have got the tape measure out and seen which one scored higher.LOL It really depends on the shape of the animals as to what I would have done.

    Take the card check the pics delete is return card and then give it a full moon. LOL just kidding. I had someone that works for my dad try and moon on of my camera's a couple years ago. Lucky it was a Moutrie D40 and has a minute delay, so only got him walking away. LOL

    There is a gas station in Montour Falls called Lakes on RT 14 near the Moose Lodge, they have a big sign out front saying they carry Ethonal Free gas. They also carry racing fuel too.
