I am not for AR . You need a good food source and good genes. I think Sportsman need to work on protecting what hunting land is left and not worry about AR. I have hunted for 25 years and have lost alot of land where I can not longer hunt. You are getting alot of NYC, NJ folks moving up buying a house and 150 acres of land for $150,00 - $200,000 and happy as hell that they got a great deal.I am lucky as I own almost of 200 acres of land myself and around another 300 acres of family land ( No AR, and look at the first trail cam picture of the year I posted in the trail cam section). I have pictures from last year of other nice bucks too.There is 165 acres of crops planted, with lots of corn and soybeans for them.Then there are around another 1200 acres of more around of farm land, and all those acres are hunted heavy too. If you areas does not have the good genes and a good food source, you are not going to have big deer.

Yes you need insurance and a registration in NY.I have 3 4 wheelers and none of them are registered anymore.Just a waste of money.I use mine of the farm all the time, I have a sprayer, and they don't seem to bother me.What makes me mad is some of the vineyards have a Mule, and can drive that right down the main road with only a orange triangle sign on them. Was told because they don't do over 25 mph that was legal.

Yea, I think he is the 8 pointer I had on Cam last year in the same spot..I also had a 12 pointer on cam in the same spot last year.Makes me want to go pull the card early.I pull the cards once a week.

On the land owner preference you need 50 acre parcel.You can not have five 10 acre pieces, the 50 acres has to be on one deed.I received my life time license 2 days after they went on sale.Then went down and got 2 DMP permits then next day.One for 8S and one for 8J.

I sure alot of people will remember my screen name from another forum that has since vanished.I had alot of stuff going on this year, and have not done any scouting till last week.I pulled my card and this was the first buck of the year on film for me.
