I took my bow cert class last year and if i remember correctly i believe you do need it to comply with the "safety regulations" of using a bow... I could be wrong but i think in order to get the tags you need to present your cert in order to get them just like you would your large game tags

Hey whats going on guys,

 

Im new to the site and going into my second bowhunting season.

If anyone has any pointers, good stories, or ways in which i can improve my overall bow/rifle hunting experience please let me know!

 

Ive been hunting state lands primarily (which has unfortunately been a wash) since i don't have any private land to hunt on at the moment but if anyone knows of any clubs i could potentially join I would really apprecate the feed back.

Im Currently in Westchester county and dont mind driving 2-3 hours away to get to a good hunting spot.
