I use bore butter for patch lube and thats it. As for cleaning up I use patches soaked in 50/50 antifreeze, works the nuts.

I used a .54 caliber Jim Bridger Hawken with a Bill Large barrel. It was built probably 50 years ago and set up for match target shooting, everything is glass bedded. I also use a .45 caliber longrifle flint, with a Douglas barrel. Kinda like those classic barrels I suppose.
