I am fine with paying taxes, but agree that they should not be wasted. -

You have not answered the question....do you feel you should pay no taxes? -
LMAO...... Yer prolly wrong. I have permission on every property I hunt....you need to find another huckleberry.
-
I didn't draft the law. Personally, I am a spirit of the law guy, so back off Pockets.
-
No....because your land is obviously not "uninhabited." Complain to your lawmakers, not to those who follow the letter of the law.

I asked a landowner for permission to hunt his property, and he gruffly responded: "If I didn't want people to hunt here, I'd have posted it."

I'd boot them, if it were up to me. ;D -
And now you are the protester. That is ironic. arrowflinger , go home will ya! Back over to Syracuse outdoors! I'm not the protester of anything. You’re the self appointed central NY savior of everything. If anyone is a protestor it's you! You add noting to the discussion but personal attacks in an attempt to distract and keep the thread alive because you can hide behind a key board using an anonymous name. Why don't you step up and tell us who you are it may add some creditability to your argument, or it may not. LOL Then I can take your name and FOIL the legislators in your area to see how many letters and calls you've made in an effort to hinder hunting in NY. Ya know I spoke with a guy a few weeks back who mentioned a guy on the forums from your area. He quoted you word for word but he could not remember your full name. He said all this guy did was go from forum to forum ranting about crossbows and any other thing he felt would start an argument. I’ll have to call him and ask if he remembers who it was he spoke of. Yep arrowflinger, only agree's to a few items in a thread to continue the thread on another usless topic. :-X Brings nothing to the but wants to eat everyones elses food. : Probably one of those guys who got involved in an association then bailed after a year because he couldn't get his way. :'( Sad in a way , and people ask why soprtsmen get crapped on all the time. I'll tell ya what , you've chased half this forum off with the same BS topics as are on other forums. So you take your puffed up chest and remember why NY is in such sad shape. I'm done on this forum~ :-* Now why would you let yourself get so bent out of shape over a post on a forum? I have been jumped on since I got here, simply for speaking my mind. NYantler has been particularly rude and nasty, but others have too. If they want to give a little, they are going to get a little. Why do you care if I have a different opinion on crossbows? Or a more optimistic view of the future and longevity of our country than some here? If you are not a fan of my posts, or my point of view......don't read it. Problem solved.

America as seen from abroad.

I said "Continental" US, you dum dum. Even the Alaskan islands and Hawaii would be at the far end of its possible range, and it has never actually demonstrated its range....it failed in 2 test flights. I am surprised you had to look it up...it caused an international incidnt a couple years back. It is hardly a legitimate threat to us as a nation. BTW....the "just add the nuke" part is the tricky part, or so I am told. But if you dudes lay awake at night worrying about NK nukes, you are wasting your time. -

Just follow the rules, losers. No need to change them...they have worked fine for decades. -

Michigan? LOL -
It tells me that they have different priorities than you and I. It doesn't make them "bad" or "wrong." Just different. The system rewards longevity.....more earmarks. Hopefully the freshmen will bust the system, and we'll no longer have the incentive to keep incumbents. If not....we'll keep bouncing bums until they do.

So I went through a similar list on a different thread already today, so I will not respond point by point. Yes...the rust belt. Of course, it has been replaced by silicon valley. America continues to reinvent itself. The UN - we are not bound by the UN, and will continue to do what is in our own best interests, just as we always have. Neither NK or Iran has the ability to deliver a nuclear weapon to the continental US, and it is unlikely that they will possess that capability for generations. Yes the deficit sucks...we did not get here overnight. Many administrations are to blame. The new congress was elected to get that ball rolling....let's see how they do. -
So this is the data I would like to see. A poll result that shows that the majority of Americans believe that this "perfect storm" of problems is about to collapse our country. There is no way that most....or many....actually believe this. Minus the imminent threat of collapse, America will go about its business as it always has. We will try to solve the pressing problems of the nation. The government will do the people's business, or we will throw the bums out....just as we did last November to the Dems that voted for Health Care against the will of the people. It takes time.....but it works.
