  1. fence them in. We tried and the rabbits and deer ate hem to the ground. We put orange construction fence around them the next time.
  2. I'd show. Has to be before hunting season though lol.
  3. Bought slick trick 100gr and a dozen gold tip por hunters. I'll let you know how it goes.
  4. huntingnet.com, Archerytalk.com, myhuntingforum.com are 3 of the ones I am on.
  5. I shoot the Hornady SST slugs in both of my 12ga Ithaca's. I used to use Federals but I swear they changed the powder in them and after shooting two slugs the barrel was fouled real bad. I switched to the SST's and they fire clean and group awesome. With my Ithaca Storm I have no issues shooting 200 yards with it. Yes it has a scope. I did learn to pay attention to the batch numbers. If I buy 10 boxes to sight in and hunt with I make sure they are all from the same batch.
  6. NYS is a Democrat State and we are doing so much better then the republican states, lol
  7. interesting video on youtube. I'm not saying a deer is as strong as a rusty barrel but deer do have bones. G5 and slick trick look good in this video. Dam them no muzzy in this video.
  8. I have no faith in the rage and don't believe the hype. I don't want to fart around with rubber bands. Two amny horror stories about the rage. I have a few too. I think I'll try slick tricks for now. ;D
  9. playing pop warner football when I was a kid I was real tall for a D-end and keep blocking passes so the QB called me Stretch. It stuck so I used Stretch and hunts for here.
  10. I have shot Rage, and NAP so that's why they are on there. G5 and Slick trick are what I'm looking at. I never thought of Muzzy or the other 50-60 broad heads are out there. I could only pick so many for the pole sorry guys I didn't put Muzzy on there ;D
  11. that's my problem. I'm shooting 65lbs with a 29.5 draw. Let me know if you want them for your kid. Mike
  12. They would be good for your kid. What's your draw length? They are good up to 60lbs with a 29 in draw.
  13. My wife said that I have to sell these if I want to buy new ones. >
  14. chart for poundage they work for. http://www.safearrow.com/pdf/09_Redhead_BassPro_Chart.pdf
  15. I have a caliber poly shield for a 2 place trailer for sale. $125 I have 2 complete sets of Caliber Multi glides 6" wide and 2 TraxMat - 54". this will cover a 2 place trailer. $75 http://www.caliberproductsinc.com/snow.htm
  16. I bought a bow on another website and it came with 12 Red Head Carbon Fury arrows with fletching. These are not the right spine for the poundage I shoot so they are up for sale. I'd like 40TYD for them or maybe do a trade for some Bemans or slick tricks 100 grain.
  17. I've tried the Rage 2 blade but they don't seem to do complete pass through. I first started shooting the razorbak 5's back in the day. Moved to thunderhead 125 but now with my carbon arrows and newer bow wanted to go back to fixed blade. I'm leaning slick trick but something about the G5's has me thinking about them.
  18. I use to shoot thunderhead 100's then went to the rage 2 blade. This year with a new bow set up, I'm thinking of either the slick tricks or G5s. What do you guys shoot? What's the good and bad etc. Thanks, Mike
  19. I took the first 11 days off. I've seen 7 deer total and no I didn't just go out a few days. It was all 11 I was off I was in the woods. 11 and 1/2 hrs opening day and no deer. I know it slows down during gun that's why I stay in the woods, Just never know when or where but they will come ;D
  20. How about letting kids hunt younger. It's hard at the age of 14 to get kids into hunting when you have to fight with XBOX, Playstation etc. Kids play game systems and kill things all day long but don't wanna sit in the woods at 14 and not see wild life. I started my kids young on hunting and fishing to keep them off the streets and doing games. Now they are 50/50 when it comes to games and the outdoors.
