1. Anyone with any personal experience using a therma-cell mosquito repellant clip on? I hate with a passion Mosquitos when I scout in the summer. Especially where a couple locations I go are swamp.
2. You can buy some fake security cameras. They are very real looking and run off of a battery. Run a wire to it into the wall or mounted spot to add to the realism. Also mount a trail cam on the driveway in.
Best of luck, I hate to hear about scum like that.
3. Appreciate the feedback. Sounds like a decent place to go then. Definitely would pay off to do some scouting but the drive for me just wouldn't be worth it id say. I have a few local tricks up my sleeve for some seriously urban monsters.
4. If it only costs $600 for a nice hunt in pa or CT I might be planning one for next year!
5. I have always seen good dear and rut activity the past two years the third week in November. Just my experience.
6. I work for a company which had to deliver some equipment there last week. Really nice place, but honestly inside it was disappointing as some of their stuff needs updating. The countertop of the service desk wasn't granite, it was a cheap formica. Just seemed to be an overrated rich snobby place. The railings needed a fresh coat of paint.

Their personal gym was a joke, so outdated and lack luster. A company was there replacing a couple pieces because the tournament was there. This old lady freaked out because she couldn't use the treadmill. I was just laughing while watching.

Here is some quick photos I snapped
7. So you are saying Brookfield is not a campable location? It seems very large. Anyone familiar with the location? I looked at the maps and it seems to be lots of access roads cutting through it, which for me would be bad as I want to walk some miles in and go to a spot to spend time where not many people venture
8. Awesome, sounds like a good time. I think I'll have to make a good trip out of it with a buddy and bow hunt. Never tried bow hunting a place I haven't been and scouted a lot. Should be pretty hard. I just would hate to go to public land during regular season and see a woods full of guys And phade, I was thinking about letchworth but heard that place gets pounded hard. Might be a spot ill have to try out for myself muzzleloader or for the 2014 season.

11. NYS fair in Syracuse is right around Labor Day. Tons to do there, is on ur way from Albany to Rochester.
12. Any insight on the Brookfield hunting WMA. I am trying to find a spot to camp for 3 days and hunt. Curious to see what the deer population is like in that area. Any help would be appreciated. Feel free to message me if you have any info that you'd like to keep private
13. Almost reminds me of the Chernobyl movie. Better buy a AK while you are there
14. I got a TC venture and it is a tack driver. I like it
15. A bottle of red stag and a disk of Rosetta Stone.
16. If you're talking about the Camille's unique area, I've scouted there a lot this off season and have seen good potential to say the least. I probably know what you are talking about the development (Ryan homes) and have seen tracks running right through it on the edge. I was thinking about trying out 3 rivers but have heard it gets mobbed so I just stick to private land around and then hunt Morgan hill in truxton.
17. Just had a question for you Utica/Hamilton hunters would know the answer to, I'll inbox you it.
18. You ever hunt it? Is it worth the time? I've liked Morgan hill in the past, never hunted near Madison though
19. I found a park that might work well, in south east Monroe county. It's called Charles baker state forest. Seems very large, but I don't like the fact there are access roads running through it, which divides the property up, which is not what I want as I want to go deep in past where the average joe would go.
20. Aka a dump truck of corn scattered ???? It would be the the old country buffet in the city, everyone would be there eating for free.
21. I bought bike locks at the dollar store for my cheap cams and use a python cable for my good cams. They won't stop a person who really wants the cam but will stop I'd say 80% of the half decent people who would stop at the fact there is a lock and wouldn't go home and drive back with cutters. Who knows though, some people have no ethics. I personally would not touch some one else's, and if I was curious to see the pictures, I'd leave a note on the camera or possibly check the sd card in my camera and put it back.
22. Never did I even think of the fact that cams can scare away deer. I still doubt that it affects their patterning and will change anything but I don't want to leave it even a chance of ruining a monster buck for me so ill be high mounting all mine in the future.
23. I've had good luck with them, I hate going to the department sporting goods stores. I need to cut my own arrows. Time to look up some DIY's because it pains me to spend $18 at dicks to have a dozen cut
