  1. I love this time of the year. I hunt with 8 guys and starting around now there's always someone at the property getting ready for the season. Hopefully the summer work pays off this fall!
  2. Made it out this morning for only my 3rd time of the year. Heard one way off, but hopefully it picks up. Man these skeeters are thick right now.
  3. I would prefer the Bills only trade up if they can get Rosen or Darnold. I am not sold on any of the other guys. It would be nice to fill some holes with the 6 picks in the first 3 rounds too, but that is the mind set they have had for the last 15 years and it never really worked.

    The End

My bow season ended last weekend. I was unable to get out as much as most years, but when i did i had a great season. I saw a lot of deer and had a chance at a great 10 pointer that i blew. I always love bow season because of the all of the deer action and that you get to witness the woods changing from summer to fall. That being said, i am ready to get out the shotgun his weekend and hopefully get another chance at that buck.
  5. Montana is tough to compare to. They have 1/5 of the hunters of NYS and the state is almost 3 times as large. Also, the state only took about 50,000 deer last year compared to NYS's 200,000. So NYS has less land that we are taking more deer from. Montana may not have to worry as much about managing the deer herd.
  6. I think this idea comes from other states that are known for big bucks. I surfed some state hunting websites to get regular gun seasons lengths. Illinois - 7 days, Iowa - 15 days, Kansas - 11 days, Nebraska - 9 days, Ohio- 7 days, Oklahoma -16 days, Pennsylvania 13 days (majority of state). We are at 22 days this year.
  7. I am from Lancaster as well. There are a lot of big bucks that people see in the area. I think a lot of it has to do with certain areas being off limits to hunting. Some of the largest deer ive ever seen were in Stiglmeier Park back when people would feed them.

    And Tagged out

    Great buck! Congats G Man
  9. I have used those with just the bottle that came with it. I have gotten a few pictures of bucks hitting it. I would stick with the standard juice until the rut kicks in or it may be turn off.
  10. great buck. Congrats!!
  11. It definately takes more time than paper but that extra time pays off in how well your meat is kept. Well worth the investment.
  12. Those are some great shots! If you don't mind telling, what camera do you use?
  13. I'm in 9H...We have had scrapes for a few weeks now, but we have noticed that there are very few rubs so far compared to years past.
