Welcome to the forum, Matt. You came at the on during the off-season low where all we do is bash on each other till the season starts. That's when we forget about all the bashing and become great friends for a few months.

How's the hunting in NJ?

Fish at all?

The area I hunt is unlimited doe for about 6 months. It's a small piece with 2 neighbors that let me hunt close to their homes as long as my fatherinlaw and myself shoot does. I take 5 or 6 a year, him one or 2 and usually we get 1 buck each. Most of my hunting is bow, Nj also allows using a bow during gun seasons as long as you have the gun permit to hunt that area and season. This was the first year I took 2 does during during gun seasons.

Just found it today, it was mentioned on another site I've been on for 7 years. Checked it out and joined up. I do fish, mostly fresh water with my little kids. I'll be posting pics soon. Since I get upstate once a month I hope I'm welcome here lol.

Hi everyone, my name is Matt 45 yrs old, northern NJ where I hunt most. I've also been hunting NY the past 15 years in Deleware County near Cannonsville Resivour where my brother lives. Tough hunting up there and I love the challenge of the terrain and wind shifts.
