Antler restrictions aren't necessary for quality deer. Look at all the big bucks that are taken by the hunters who are patient and disciplined enough to wait out the big ones. I like the freedom for properly licensed, ethical hunters to decide for themselves what is acceptable within the legal guidelines.

Hello All, I joined the forum to stay in touch with local hunters and local news. A few years ago I remember reading an article (don't remember if it was website or newspaper or magazine) about a fellow who harvested a big buck on the last day of muzzleloader somewhere in Ontario County (perhaps near Stid Hill). I am looking for more information as to where that article appeared. I'd like to read it again. Thanks, good luck to all this year
