  1. This is the last video from our pheasant syndicate for 2015/16 season. The video was over the last 2 Saturday's of the season, not many birds about but we did manage to get our total returns up to almost 50%.I'm sure the dogs are glad to get a rest for s few months until the summer time. It's been a tough season with the weather very mild early on so the cover was very thick and almost every day ruined with wind & rain. Anyway, I hope you all had a nice season and thanks for watching as always, please like, share & comment on the video. 2. We are back out on the pheasant syndicate again. The footage is from 2 days; first few clips are from Saturday 9th January with a howling wind & freezing rain coming off the irish sea both the shooting & recording was a bit of a disaster. Second day the weather was much better with a bit of overnight snow & frost it was a lovely day to be out shooting. Ended up with a bag of 9 pheasants. Please like, comment & share the video. 3. This video is a small review of some of my favourite & most memorable shots from 2015 in Ireland. Shots are from decoying crows & pigeons in the summer to rough game shooting for Pheasants & Woodcock in the Winter. Please like, share & comment on my video. 4. Myself and a couple of other fellas headed to County Fermanagh, Ireland just after Christmas to do a bit of walked up pheasant shooting, so here is the video. The terrain & shooting was a little different to our normal pheasant shoot, but it was a nice day out meeting new people & a change from the norm. I had 2 dogs with me which I switched half way through. So my cocker spaniel Dinky in the morning & Dawn my springer spaniel in the afternoon. We ended up with a total bag of 18 pheasants (mainly cock birds) including a couple of lovely melanistic birds & 4 crows. Please like, share & comment on the video. I would greatly appreciate some new subscribers, please see below for my youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCdXL__oYvbmKo0Ccm-vWRfw Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. This video is mainly from our pheasant shoot on Boxing Day 2015, in the Glens of Antrim Ireland. There are also a couple of clips at the start from 23rd December. I have tried a new editing software on this video and to be honest I found it very complicated. The software is Powerdirector Ultra 14, I have a month free trial, so I would be interested in getting a idea of how everyone thinks this one compares to the videos I have made previously using Windows Moviemaker. Onto the shooting. It was another dull windy day and the birds flew great, in fact, too good for me most of the day. It is without doubt the worst I have shot this season & I had some very poor misses, but also one very good fast pheasant that I some how hit!!! Thanks for watching, keep an eye out for my best of 2015 video coming up in the New Year. Please like the video, comment, share the video & subscribe to my channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCdXL__oYvbmKo0Ccm-vWRfw Happy New Year Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Happy Christmas everyone. This is a video from last Saturday 19th December on the syndicate shoot, here in the Glens of Antrim Northern Ireland. The pheasants were very testing with 30-40 mph winds up their tail most of the day, but it made for good shooting. I spent most of the day beating so didn't get loads of footage, but captured some nice shots. 7. Here is a video of some rough shooting for woodcock from Ireland on the 15th December. Was a very dull & dark day so the footage isn't the best, but I had a good day none the less. Ended up with a bag of 3 woodcock & 2 pigeons. Hope you enjoy. Link to my channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCdXL__oYvbmKo0Ccm-vWRfw Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. You are correct mate, no point having it sitting in the cabinet collecting dust. It's actually a laminate over the stock, so the wood doesn't actually look like that, but it's pretty!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I am from Ireland, so these are European woodcock, a little larger than the American ones. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. It is a beretta al391 tekny, the stock is the wood xtra stock. It's a lovely semi auto shotgun & I always grab it over the over & under I have. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Got out today for a few hours with the springer spaniel. Managed to shoot 3 woodcock & 2 wood pigeons. The springer is currently lying on the sofa snoring beside me after a hard day. I had the head cam on, so hopefully got some good footage. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Here is a compilation video from some woodcock shooting I did last week in ireland. The shooting was done over 3 days and although the bags were modest it was good sport. Please give the video a like & subscribe to my YouTube page. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. What do you guys like to do with your pheasants? I thought I would share a recipe that I use all the time during pheasant season. I did a video of how I cook the pie: Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Here is my latest video from our small syndicate shoot last Saturday. With overnight snow in the hills we were hoping for a good day & perhaps a couple of woodcock. However, it turned out very wet which ruined the shooting & also some of the camera work. We ended up getting 6 pheasants, 1 woodcock & 1 rabbit. I was happy with my return of 2 pheasants for 2 shots, but the bag woulda been bigger only for some terrible shooting from the other lads [emoji12]. Anyway here is the short video, hopefully the next day the weather is better and I can get better footage: My channel: https://m.youtube.com/channel/UCdXL__oYvbmKo0Ccm-vWRfw Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Here is a video of our first proper outing on the pheasant syndicate in Ireland this year. The weather was unseasonably warm & the cover is still high so we didn't have a great day. The highlight of the day was a large pod of porpoises breaking the surface along the coast when we were shooting. Unfortunately a lot of them were too far out in the sea to pick up on the head cam, but you may notice some of them. I was trying my new sj4000 camera for the first time & I was impressed by the clarity of it, especially considering how cheap it was. I hope you enjoy!!! https://m.youtube.com/channel/UCdXL__oYvbmKo0Ccm-vWRfw Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. This video is a compilation of a couple of outings I had in September & October 2015. They were overall 2 poor days, but there were enough clips to make a short video. First day was a glorious day and between 2 recently cut barley fields I had a very poor return. Second day was from last week. The farmer had rang to tell me the field of drilled wheat was black with crows. As we all know farmers are prone to exaggeration & we managed 20 corvids & 1 magpie. Thanks for watching, if you would like to check out my other video visit my channel: https://m.youtube.com/my_videos Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Well lads, here is another video, probably my last decoy outing for the year, on corn stubble. We had a decent outing shooting 63 mixed corvids, 1 magpie & 11 pigeons. Stay tuned until the end to see a funny clip of my spaniel dawn. This was dawns first ever outing in a hide, she has always been used as a rough shooting dog & she is semi retired due to a bad leg. So she isn't a perfect hide dog by any means. Please subscribe to my channel & post any comments: https://m.youtube.com/channel/UCdXL__oYvbmKo0Ccm-vWRfw Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Bit of a delay getting this video up. From 12th September on wheat stubble. It was quite a wet morning followed by high winds, but we got out about midday & shot until 5pm. There were 3 of us shooting & there was mighty craic between us. One of my mates has only taken up shooting this year, so he had quite a few misses. I had to edit some of the misses from all of us or the video woulda been half an hour long. Shooting could have been better by all of us but I am blaming the windy weather for this [emoji12]. Final bag was 60 feral pigeons, 45 woodpigeons & 22 mixed corvids. Thanks for watching: Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Here is a short decoying outing from a couple of weeks ago over rape stubble. Not a great bag but nice to be out: Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. The woodcock hunting season in Ireland starts next month. Can't wait, this forms a big part of our shooting season. Our woodcock is a little bigger than the American version. Here is a couple of videos from last season: Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Great videos, do you have a YouTube channel? Check out mine, for some different hunting: https://m.youtube.com/channel/UCdXL__oYvbmKo0Ccm-vWRfw Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Moved this from the other section. Here are a couple of other videos from the last year. The first one is from the same farm as my previous one but last year: This one is from a few hours on a barley stubble field at pigeons. Thanks for watching. Please like & subscribe to my channel. 23. Hey guys are you all excited for the nfl season? I may be irish but I love nfl & have done for about 10 years. My fav team is the ravens, mainly because I loved Ray Lewis!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  25. We aren't allowed to use electronic callers over here, so it is only mouth calls, but I rarely use them. We also set up quite a few decoys in a random pattern. Pigeon decoys have to be a more regimented pattern. Good luck if you give it a go. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
