  1. Well....if you wire nut those wires together and the breaker trips again, you can cross the timer off the list of causes.

Still could be any of a dozen things.

Any chance you own a clamp on ammeter, like this? a94ce94ffa8e1b733bf02f92c7dc540f.jpg

  2. Was out all day Friday. After 3 hours in the stand, my feet were frozen. My boots are 600g insulation, but they are pretty old. I guess it's time for a new pair.

What is everyone doing to keep their feet semi-warm? What boots/socks are you partial to?

  3. Meateater seems to be one of the few that's not a constant commercial and series of product placement shots. Steve Rinella also has a podcast that's pretty entertaining.

  4. Haha, while I do drink my share of coffee....and then some....my moniker is a reference to when I was an apprentice in the building trades. Bringing coffee and breakfast back correct and on time was a top priority, and most times you were rewarded handsomely by the generous journeyman (and women).

  5. Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. I forgot to mention, I hunt mainly state land on my own. I live in 5R, but not much public there so I usually roam around Moreau State Park.

  6. Long time lurker, one previous post in a sports thread.

I grew up a city boy, got married and moved to a suburb. I came to hunting pretty late but have really developed a passion for it and all things outdoors. I feel like I learn something new, either about the woods or about myself, every time I go out.

I don't know if I consider myself a hunter yet, considering i have yet to make my first kill. I'm hoping this will be the season.

I have also expanded my horizons to small game hunting and trapping. Combining these activities with the fishing i have always enjoyed gives me cause to be outside enjoying nature all year round.

I have learned alot from this board just by reading and I hope to learn and contribute more.
