  1. Even faster all you need to do is pull the pins through the front of the safe.
  2. Do you want the best? Here it is, my buddy has one and nothing holds a candle to it. The heaviest duty and best gun safe you can own and that is not an opinion look at their tests. I have a Sentry and it doesn't hold a candle to his. If you are serious for keeping your guns safe Sturdy is the answer. I will be buying one at some point If I can find a place to put it. https://www.sturdysafe.com/
  3. Yeah I'm not condoning the new laws because they will do nothing. Just like the almighty unconstitutional SAFE Act. People say they want common sense gun laws then they need someone with common sense to come up with the laws, but we all know that isn't going to happen.
  4. I think you can still get it on site at the time you apply. It is extending the current 3 day law to 10, maybe I read it wrong but I thought if you don't usually have to wait you won't be affected. But the bump stocks is a mute point as they are already illegal.
  5. The columnist is an idiot. He obviously didn't actually read letter but skimmed it discounting the facts that are provided via the FBI! Best example of Sheeple.
  6. Not that you probably care but my next pistol is going to be 10mm. I have a .40 and reloading for the 10mm is all the same except more powder. Probably more cartridge than I'll ever need but overkill isn't always a bad thing.
  7. From what I have read the 10mm has more energy than the .357 loaded with the same gr. bullet. You will also fit more in the mag than in a cylinder. You can get longer barrels for the glock if need be as well. Like you mention you can also get heavier bullets than .357. All comes down to what you want. If you want to compare the 10mm to something it is closer to a .41 than a .357.
  8. I'm still in it with my bracket but had quite a few upsets I didn't account for. Freaking Tennessee really you couldn't pull it out the W? If they had won I would be sitting real pretty. Good thing I didn't take them to the end.
  9. 10mm and .357 are almost exactly the same energy wise except the 10mm is .40 caliber vs .38. I would go with something big enough to take down a bear but still able to get multiple rounds out of the gun accurately because you won't always hit on the 1st shot when in a life or death situation. I would recommend either the 10mm or .357. I like pistols so I personally would opt for the 10mm.
  10. Now that would be a blast.
  11. So I heard on the radio FL. is trying to pass the laws that raised the age to 21 to purchase a firearm, the "Violent threat restraining order" law and banning bump stocks. The VTRO law is the one that allows a family member, LEO or Community Welfare expert to file a sworn request. to have all firearms removed from a residence. Meaning even if the owner is not the mentally ill one. I'm sorry but I see a lot of pissed off ex girlfriends or wives filing a request. This just opens a whole new can of worms. Not sure any of this other than raising the age would have prevented the Florida shooting.
  12. That is a little odd to be honest. Not my cup of tea but to each their own.
  13. You can hunt until the 26th on the 26th the season is done. So last day is the 25th until 11:59pm.
  14. Getting kids to actually show up would be the first step. Employers are seeing the same issues teachers see, they don't want to show up everyday and if they do they don't want to work. It's an epidemic and not getting any better.
  15. Some but not many. Honestly we aren't going to get anywhere as a country until we stop blaming others and objects for a persons short comings. The most recent rumor is the outlawing of violent videos. I'm sorry but these video games have ratings on them if a parent gives them to a kid younger than the rating then it is on the parent. If parents would step up and do their job as a parent there wouldn't be these things going on. I know of many people that are immature during college doing stupid stuff and by the time they graduate and get into the "real world" their common sense has kicked in and see the world a totally different way. Unfortunately it doesn't happen when they're a liberal.
  16. Or go shooting that new gun they impulse bought because of cabin fever.
  17. 3 years from now this will be a distant memory for those not directly effected and by that time maybe these people protesting guns will have come to their senses. I find it funny how they are bashing Trump like it is his fault we had almost 2 decades of presidents to fix this and they didn't but let's just blame a man that was elected 4 months ago. They need a scapegoat and that is what Trump is. They are going to use kids as their forefront because they will pull in more followers to disarm the law abiding citizens. I'm done sugar coating anything, for anyone I tell them what they need to hear if they need a safe space then so be it go cry in the fetal position.
  18. I'm ready to see grass, this is our first winter in our new house and compared to the areas around they have had grass showing in most their yards but we still have 3"+ of settled snow. Kind of sucks, but it does make shooting coyotes off the bait pile a lot easier with some snow .
  19. Start shooting the coyotes, you have until the 26th.
  20. Picture? I can't see anything.
