I am looking forward to what they have to say. I would love to see what the crime numbers pre and post are. I can bet they aren't much different if at all.

We used to have a camper that we stayed in while in the 100 islands on water front but upgraded to our cottage. I do miss the camper and would love to pull her into the ADK's and do a little winter camping. However I really like having waterfront and would give up the camper for the waterfront. However my camp doesn't have any heat source other than a wood stove and no TV so it will be roughing it....kind of. haha

In NY you are NOT required to tell the officer you are carry concealed. Most of the time when I go to and from the range or hunting properties I use one of those soft gun cases for my long guns. I put my box of ammo in the case with the gun and lay it across the back seat. If I get stopped it is within plain sight and if the officer asks to see it I would oblige.

Oregon Situation

Not in all cases. How many private properties are leased or give permission to those that ask? Look at gas leases they work in the same way farmers lease for AG property or hunters lease for hunting rights. -
Well it looks like us New Yorkers got the shaft no N.Y. BIG winners.

To those admittedly chasing big antlers as priority 1, what if ....

I already shot my buck of a lifetime, could there be bigger out there? I hope so and I will continue to pursue the largest buck on my property in hopes of him living to that magic 160" deer. I have shot 120" deer and don't get me wrong they get the blood pumping but it isn't as gratifying knowing there are bigger deer around. For me it is a personal goal thing, I have high expectations for myself and know I can kill a deer it is about out smarting that old guy making it a trophy. I like a challenge and that is how I learn more every deer season. The deer likely know the woods better than me so I have to use all my bag of tricks to out smart him or he will out smart me. I put meat in my freezer first (about 2 deer) until I start to trophy hunt. -

I considered if it is measured by a certified individual and all paperwork is there it is, but to each their own. No biggy if he wants to enter it, it's his trophy either way.

Those aren't too bad if you can get into the woods! My father worked construction for 25 years and would get laid off at the beginning of Nov. and start back up end of Feb. he got to do a lot of deer hunting while us kids were at school.

I have shot a couple NYS big buck club deer but never entered them into the book. That doesn't really matter to me as much as the story behind the deer does. Either way great buck, love to see nice NY bucks!
-
Yeah definitely a 180" deer at least. I shot a 160" deer and mine is no where near as big.

This is key make sure they rotate crops or your land will become useless later and need a lot of work. We lease around 80 acres in upstate all flat and get about $40 an acre but is good land. He has been leasing for around 15 years and takes good care of the fields. EDIT: This is in Wayne County.

My co workers are good people. First thing you should do anyway is hire a lawyer.

These are a killer deal for the boards. I made my own strike indicators but paid the same price when they first came out. http://www.cabelas.com/product/cabela-s-advanced-anglers-trade-planer-board-with-strike-flag-kit/1807049.uts?Ntk=AllProducts&searchPath=%2Fcatalog%2Fsearch.cmd%3Fform_state%3DsearchForm%26N%3D0%26fsch%3Dtrue%26Ntk%3DAllProducts%26Ntt%3Dadvanced%252Bangler%26x%3D10%26y%3D6%26WTz_l%3DHeader%253BSearch-All%252BProducts&Ntt=advanced+angler

I troll for walleye from May until September and have been for 8 or 9 years on Lake Ontario. I haven't used leadcore or divers for walleye but do for Salmon and Trout. I used primarily deep divers. I used to run the Storm thunder sticks and thunder stick Jrs. but after being bought out by Rapala their quality has gone down the crapper and no longer carry my color patterns. Last year the Bay Rats proved themselves on Lake Ontario and caught just as many walleye and out produced many other baits. My other go to lure is Smithwick which are also becoming harder to find. Those are my spring baits, once the water starts to warm up I switch to Reef Runners. Best prices I can find are on FishUSA.com great costumer service too. Depending on the amount of lines I want to run depends on my setup. Usually in the Spring on guys weekend (4 people including myself) I will run My big planer boards and run 10 lines off them then 2 off down riggers sometimes I can get 12 lines on the big boards but only with a veteran crew. If there are only 2 or 3 guys I will run inline 6 planer boards with 2 downriggers. FYI if anyone is looking for a good set of inline planer boards with the strike indicator Cabelas has their Advanced Angler boards on sale. I have 8 of these boards and they work great. I have changed up the rear release on a few that have broke with the off shore releases but they are used a lot. Rods I use are the Okuma GLT 8'-6" medium downrigger rods. I ran the depthmaster rods but they are cheap for a reason and break easily. They are a carbon/graphite composition so they are less durable to bumps, scratches, dings that will lead to failure. Reels are the Okuma Magda pro 30 series. I have a few Cabelas depthmaster II reels and they do well the new ones look a lot like the Okuma Magda series.

Sure does. Did you see Adirondack lake (above Indian Lake made by the dam) by chance? I wanted to make a trip at the end of the month but don't want to make reservations until I know it is frozen.

Can't wait! I would be out in the boat if it wasn't all winterized.

You should see the fur standing up on its neck quite mad.

Can they finally fry this Hoebag?

I hope they get her, unfortunately I'm sure her followers will make up some excuse to why she is better than any other candidate to help convince themselves they aren't idiots. -
Bow Leagues in Corning NY or surrounding areas

I forgot about T&T Tim usually services my bowtech although it has been a couple years since I have been over there. Thanks for the reminder. -
I'll have to give him a call and see what he thinks. The guy that did my previous mounts is very talented and does a great job he does it as a hobby and charges $325. My first mount cost me $250 he had to up his prices but $325 is still cheap for a good mount.

It has been fairly clean burning powder. I really like it so far along with my 9mm loads.
