    Caller at night. We have really good nights and some night not so good. But it's nice to give that fawn/turkey/ everything else killer a dirt nap!

    Ok guys. So I'm a bow hunter. It's my passion. And I have been reading all this stuff on the crossbow. And I'm not trying to start any arguments. But this crossbows seem to be a pain. Have to discharge bolt at end of hunt. Kinda bulky. Having trouble sighting them in. I guess what I'm asking is what are the advantages over a compound bow. Besides the fact u can shoot farther.

    I love it! Brings back memories of my boys! I remember I use to bring out som matchbox cars. And he would play in the dirt. And when I would see something I would whisper. He would pop his head up and watch. Than after it was gone he would play with his cars again. But he knew he couldn't make noise. These are the best of times! Keep up the good work

    so I was sitting in the stand yesterday evening. And at 630 I see this fox run under me. I watched him go sit at a base of the tree and stare out into the food plot. I turn back around and see 2 deer feeding. Just showed up! And I turn to see the fox and he's gone. Then I catch him creeping under my stand. And I see this little fawn. The fox tried to take it down. I have this all on vid. has anyone ever seen this before! I've been hunting 20 years and this is a first.

    Alright. So I'm not a huge technology guy! Actually I hate it most of the time. But I had my son with me yesterday. He's 11. And we are sitting in this make shift ground blind. And I hear a couple shots. 22 I think. Then a few minutes later a little closer. So I start to think I wish I had orange or something to flag incase I see these guys! So I started thinking. Wouldn't it be great if there was an app we could download that would make u aware that u were close to another hunter. I don't know the details. But it was just a thought. It may have stopped this!

    Well u didn't kill the 6pt! Now u have a chance to kill that nice 8pt that was in ur neighbors field! Just put ur time in. U will get another chance! This is my 3rd day in the stand and I haven't even seen a deer!

    Do some research on this before u try it. I did some years back. no dont quote me here. But I want to say the stuff from tractor supply was oil based. The sawyer stuff is water based. Something like that. Anyhow. I tried mixing my own. I do not like the smell! Very strong! Get winded for sure! So I stick with the sawyer now. Like people have Said. It's worth every penny. And they say it lasts 7 washes. I personally apply a few times threw out year. Good luck! Stay safe!
