Well 4seasons I admire ur honesty. I love my bow. I can't and won't even try a crossbow. I really don't like the fact that they are already used during the best 2 wks. I wish they would just Leave it like that.

Trust me! There aren't that many bow hunter on this site! Only a few. The rest are a bunch of so called hunters who want to grab any weapons that they are allowed to and go slaughter the deer.

U are not a true bow hunter or u wouldn't be asking to use a crossbow!

There are truly only a hand full of bow hunters on this sight. That's why the poll was 2:1. Because the rest of u are true gun hunters!

Sorry grampy I'm a bow hunter. Live for it. I enjoy the fact it takes skill. I'll stick with my stick and string thanks!

Odviously u care some what or u wouldn't check the thread! And if ur hunting during the rut and never have seen a pope and young buck on the hoof then u better pick up sum books! Or put some more time in the woods! Scout! Something!!! I am not suggesting I see them every year but in the 20 yrs I've been bow hunting I've seen my fair share and finally got to harvest one.

And do u crossbow hunters realize that the record books! The true record books don't even consider the crossbow to be a bow!! please find me a minimum score for the crossbow from pope and young!!!

U people give me a headache! And for who ever the knucklehead who said us a crossbow during gun season is has no idea. I use my Hoyt often during gun seaon. I don't want to use a crossbow! I have no interest! All I hear on hear is a bunch of lazy hunters who want an easier way to kill deer then with a bow! Man! If u guys know what u were doing with a bow in the first place u wouldn't need a weapon that shoots further and faster! One that u can put on a rest! Strap optics too! Walk or sit around with it already cocked! I mean come on!! Wake up!! Just a bit! sad!!!!

All I'm saying is if ur going to put more gun hunters in the woods during bow season. Which u would be because the crossbow is more like a gun. And that's why people are crying to have it all bow season. Then the number of deer killed will go up. This includes 1.5 ur old bucks. So a 1 buck rule would make people a bit more picky! I know I know u guts are going to say it's only hurting the people who follow the rules!! Blah blah blah...

U guys keep bringing up Ohio! U guys have no idea! Ohio is a 1 buck state! Come on! U can not plug crossbow into ny without changing some rules! If it happens and nothing else changes we will always be the laughing stock of whitetail hunting!

They already have the best 2 wks of the season which is bull crap! What more do u people want! How much easier do u guys want to make it to kill deer! I mean let's use a little skill! It drives me nuts u guys just don't get how bad that weapon is going to ruin bow season!!

Wolc123 u just sound like u want to mow the deer down the easiest way possible. Sounds like u will keep killing them no matter how full ur freezer is. Just because they give u 5 tags don't mean u have to fill all 5 tags

U filled ur freezer and ur friends! I mean how many deer do u want to kill? This is exactly why we don't need people like u with a crossbow in the woods! Just so u are aware my kids would also like to enjoy this sport one day!! I shot 3 deer all season and let many walk because my freezer was full. Holy cow man!

The states that surround us have many other rules also! Antler restrictions, 1 buck per yr. shorter seasons! The list goes on!

See the problem is the gun hunters out weigh the bow hunters here probably 2 to1. So that's why the vote went that way. i say u whining crossbow hunters get the best Two wks of bow as it is. So leave it alone.

Selfishness is u clowns wanting bring the cross gun into bow season! Or bolt bazooka! What ever u want to call it! It dont belong!!!
