    Draw the bow! Sharpen ur skills! Give that deer a chance to use its senses! And if u are able to harvest it at 20 yrds or closer with having to draw! With ur heart pumping out of ur chest and ur legs shaking then u are a skilled hunter! Anybody can pick up a gun/crossbow and kill a deer by looking through a scope and squeeze the trigger

    Crossbows don't belong during archery season! And that's all I'm going to say! Every single person on here knows why!

    Can I dehydrated it?

    Ok guys and girls! I think some time ago I read somewhere that I can dehydrated rib meat from a deer for dog treats! Can I feed my dog venison? Raw? Cooked?

    I cut from where the ribs start down. Using 2 fingers to make sure I do hit the guts. Cut around the anus. And reach up in there and pull it all out. Then rinse it when I hang. Just incase

    My lone wolf climber came with them. First time I used them I thought this is awesome. Why don't all climbers come with them.

    I wish everyone lots of luck with the deer drives! And stay safe! I have had a few slugs fly by me in my years of doing them. I think those days are over for me. But we did kill lots of deer. And I really hate wounding one and not being able to find it because it ends up on posted property. But please get them up and moving! I need something to come by. Haven't seen a deer in wks now

    Because there are few tornados. No hurricanes or wildfires. The hunting season is long! Usually the 4 seasons are nice. And very few poisonous snakes or spiders! The landscape is nice away from the city's. Taxes suck. But I just they get u anywhere u go one way or another

    Cook it to ur preference. But try it. It's good. The little medallions dry out because they are so thin. But when u cook that as one piece then cut it! It's awesome

    I've been leaving my backstraps whole. I just cut them in 1/2. Then I take a cookie sheet and pour some Montreal steak seasoning on it. And roll the back strap in it so the whole thing is coated. The fire up the charcoal grill. Cook it med. let sit for 10 minutes then slice! So juicy and delicious!

    I work on all my own stuff! Cars,truck, tractor, mower. I can't stand someone else hands on it. They strip oil plugs! Don't tighten bolts to torque specs, lug nuts especially! So I'll change my own. People don't pay attention enough to work on my stuff! That's just me

    My buddy was 24. It was over a girl. I still think about him a few times during hunting season! I still look at the pic from time to time and smile! And every now and again when when I ain't seeing anything I look up in the sky and ask him to chase a deer my way!

    Mine was the Saturday after thanksgiving. It was warm that ur. We were hunting up behind nccc. I didn't have any doe permits. 3 doe came thru. I thought of course! 2 minutes later here comes this 8. I emptied 5 shells out of a win 1300. Spine shot the deer. No more shells. My buddy Gordy comes running up and slits the Bucks throat. He had taken many deer. Few years later he took his own life! He might be the reason I still hunt to this day

    I can't believe nobody has taken a deer on here the last 2 days! It's amazing how fast gun season slows movement.
