    One thing I've learned over the years. Is the deer aren't in there houses huddled up next to there fireplaces drinking hot chocolate! I know I whine and cry about the weather too! But have to be in the woods to get a shot! I'm in my stand right now. And in a bit I'm going to use this bad weather to my advantage and do a little scouting and stalking to warm up!

    So I learned 2 things this morning! 1st I love my tree umbrella!!! 2nd I should have put it a little lower! I'm still getting wet a little on my legs. Theres a learning curve here. To low can't stand up occasionally. And it could be hard to draw a bow. To high! Still get a bit wet! But hell i'm in the stand either way

    Tell him to enjoy it! I personally didn't go. I regret it all the time. But many of my family and friends did. And they say boot camp was not awesome! But everything afterwards was the best times of there lives! And u should be proud! So should he!

    I normally just roll with the punches! But I've had it with this weather! Why can't it be 40 and calm and crisp? No!!! Had to be the hottest summer ever! Then more rain and wind during this season than ever before! Now this damn wind down know what direction it wants to blow! And a really nice wet forecast on the way

    ive had the same Camo for many years. But I know they have new light weight warmer stuff out there. Anybody got any good recommendations? Mine doesn't keep me warm any more and I'm tired of putting 4 layers underneath it

    You really think that app works? I tried to use a few! I don't care for them much. I just went back to old school. The more time u put in ur stand the better the odds!
