  1. Orders of protections can be used as an aggressive legal tactic, distorting its intent as a protective measure. Some of the charges are also a pretty low bar. I don't think anyone on here would have issue with violent offenses, but some of the charges discussed during Floor debate surprised me.
  2. Everyone should pay attention to a stand alone bill that was a part of the agreement, but had to be broken out as a separate bill in order to separate votes for the Senate Rs. It was introduced after 11 pm on Friday. S8121 / A10272 https://www.nysenate.gov/legislation/bills/2017/s8121 You're not going to like this... I'm all thumbs when using Tapatalk
  3. This is a terribly morbid reply, but if he's in there, the birds will likely find him this week with the higher temps, unless the coyotes, etc... This is a sad story. I'm all thumbs when using Tapatalk
  4. Another note for posterity. Picked up the boy's lifetime bowhunting license. He's set. Now it's the great wait until he can take the hunter's ed classes. He's just over 8 months old, so we've got some time between now and then. Ha. I'm all thumbs when using Tapatalk
  5. This is my first year trying to heat the house with all property wood. I felled it, I logged and bucked it. I split it by hand. I'm short a cord, I think, after burning about three. Been through about 200 gallons of oil, too. I need to tighten up the house, but also need the money to do it. I'll likely have to buy that next cord, which really irks me. Shop down the way is selling dried firewood for $345 a cord, delivered. I don't like that price. My neighbor had delivered wood my first year burning (last year) for $245, but the wood wasn't as seasoned as made out to be. I'll probably buy a few cords in the spring, and then try to get a year ahead. Hard learning. I'm all thumbs when using Tapatalk
  6. If it were the three of us in the car, @grampy'd be sitting shotgun, Tom. Ha... Dave's always welcome to hop in and head out. Fella knows his way around the bends on a number of large swaths of public land in southwest 4H!
  7. What a beaut!!! A couple/few years old, I think... If there was a brow tine, I think four on the side. Tight group. I'm all thumbs when using Tapatalk
  8. Dropped a few maple trees over the past two weeks, but there are still a lot of acorns around the oaks here, and the deer are there daily/nightly. That's a lot of acorns... I'm all thumbs when using Tapatalk

  10. Stillwater Artisinal, "The Cloud". Now the description leaves me like, "wha..." "A soft and fluffy India Pale Ale brewed with oats and lactose." Lactose? Sheeeeeeit. It is tasty, and fluffy. I'm all thumbs when using Tapatalk
  11. Did you crush a village last night? I'm all thumbs when using Tapatalk
  12. Threw some All-Day IPA in the coozy I won last night. Last night was at Common Roots Brewery in South Glen's Falls. Their Beta IPA was pretty tasty. I'm all thumbs when using Tapatalk
  13. I hear that everything's bigger in TX, but once you leave and look back, it's just a bunch of lazy grazin', bull sh!t, and hot air. Kidding. Been to TX a good number of times, have been known to two-step, and will be back in August. I've enjoyed my time there, and the people even more.
  14. Pint Night is tonight! This here's another bump... I'm all thumbs when using Tapatalk

  17. It's Musk's car in the payload bay. Sending it to Mars...
  18. That provision was in the last iteration of the bill.
  19. I enjoyed that out of a can. How does it hold up in the bottle? Looks like a bit more carbonation... I'm all thumbs when using Tapatalk
  20. Well done (as usual), wooly! I'm all thumbs when using Tapatalk
  21. Ha! It's good to stretch the logic and debate muscles every now and again. It's always good to have a well-defined and polished argument prepared for when it actually matters. Thanks, grampy!
