    Crunchy and there was not a single thing I could do about it. I just tried to walk whenever a car or school bus went by. Ok so let's try to light up the harvest thread at least once a day till the weekend. Who's up for the challenge? I'll take one day and I will participate every day this week till I do so. So we need 3 or 4 harvests depending on what you consider the weekend.

    I get a little excited after shooting a deer and might forget to put the orange back on before getting down from the tree. I hope you're better than me or just stay up in your tree.

    Wow, first day I've woken up late in I don't know how long. Kinda nice to sleep till 6 for a change tho. Letting eyes adjust then change and good thing my stand is 2 minutes out my back door. 3mph south wind is perfect for here. Just waiting on that herd of doe to show. See ya guys out there in a few.

    I almost just lol'd from my stand. However I could still go for some Indian food right about now.

    I finally got some good deals on orange today. Seems like some hunting stuff is going on clearance.

    Last week I saw 20 doe out behind my house so that's where I'm sitting but nit seeing them now.

    Where'd everybody go? Nothing seen this afternoon yet. Breeze making it a little chilly.

    I processed my own for the first time while watching this.

    Been back in the wood for just a little while now. I've got something in the bushes but not sure what it is yet. Snapped a decent sized stick tho. Or maybe just a loud stick. Either way, it's got my attention.

    Even tho it's dark I can tell someone freshened up a scrape since yesterday because of the snow.

    I'll be out there with ya for an hour this morning and then probably and hour or two at the end of the day. Anything good to eat today Turkeyfeathers?

    I love breakfast for dinner! However that does look below standard for you. I was working construction once and we worked through and missed lunch. Lunch was pretty important then. I said to another contractor that we missed lunch. He said "Don't worry buddy, Lunch will come around again tomorrow" Didn't help much but I laughed at least.

    I hunt a little here, a little there, on small pieces of property based usually on trail cam pics for bucks. This doesn't work all the time but because of the time I put in it has been working out. The amount of meat I get doesn't justify the time but knowing where my meat comes from makes me feel better about a lot of different things in life and has opened my eyes a bit. Thank you for the great compliments

    Hate it when that happens but when I do find whatever it is to eat it usually tastes pretty good.

    I spend time with friends and family with hunting related things. Actually it can bring us closer together. Everything in life is better with balance and moderation tho.

    That sounds almost like the afternoon I got snorted wheezed at. If you have a doe under your stand next time there I can let you know how to proceed.

    If you smelled him for a while it's likely he hangs out there. At least from my recent experience. Plenty of doe to keep him hanging out at the property I was at so he didn't roam too far. Set up on him when the wind is the same next time.
