  1. Border security solution: Allow volunteers to help secure the border with their own arms, on their own time, with authority to shoot anything approaching the border outside a check point, or not escorted by the US Border Patrol. Put the American militia where it should be at this time in history. Within days, illegal border crossing that would be stopped by a wall, will stop completely. Illegal Immigrant solution: Deport every illegal immediately upon identification as illegal, including any illegal children, and fine the heck out of anyone who was paying them to work. Illegal Drug solution: Legalize ALL illegal drugs. Removing the risk of supplying them illegally removes the high profits in smuggling them. Legal drugs will be privatized and legal businesses must work within the government regulatory system. Users will find it's their choice to risk using drugs and their medical needs will be their burden, not taxpayers. If we are a free country, your stupid choices are your free choice and the consequences are your consequences, nobody else's. I'm sure many will say these are harsh solutions. I say, we must have the guts to solve harsh problems with harsh solutions. These solutions also remove any political gain by any American political party. The only thing that matters is solving the problem effectively and with the lowest possible cost to taxpayers.
  2. So the source of the info was cited and the numbers confirmed, yet I don't think any minds were changed. Imagine that.
  3. People have said America was never great and our past had issues. Compared to today, I'd take our past any day. Thomas Sowell: "Before there can be a welfare state in a democratic country, there must first be a welfare state vision that becomes sufficiently pervasive to allow a welfare state to be created. That vision, in which people are 'entitled' to what others have produced, is at the heart of the social degeneration that can be traced back to the 1960s. Teenage pregnancies, venereal diseases, dependency on government and murder rates were all going down during the much disdained 1950s. All reversed and shot up as the welfare state, and the social vision behind the welfare state, took over in the 1960s. That vision featured non-judgmental rewards and non-judgmental leniency toward counterproductive behavior, whether crime or irresponsible sex and its consequences. But relieving people from the responsibilities and challenges of life is doing them no favor. Nor is it a favor to society at large. American society has become more polarized under the welfare state vision. Nor is it hard to see why. If we are all 'entitled' to benefits, just by being present, why are some entitled to so little while others have so much?"
  4. Also, Joe Wilson was right when he called Obama a liar for saying illegals won't get free Obamacare, because they do, and Obama is actually demanding it in one state now. If these people are really against illegals, why is nobody stopping Obama?
  5. BTW I'm talking about the 1st Ron Paul video you posted. What he said almost 10 years ago doesn't seem to be the way he feels now.
  6. But where in the video does he offer a solution to illegals and an open border? Besides 2012 was almost 5 years ago now. Where's his outrage today? I say they don't care because all they are doing is criticizing a wall, yet offer no real solutions to a wall. There are solutions, like deportation, cutting off freebies totally, arrest, incarceration and huge fines for employers of illegals. Nobody in the videos, or in public for that matter, is standing up for any of that.
  7. I didn't see the plan you're referring to. Eliminating welfare and work for illegals would work, but that is not being proposed by either party. It's being demanded by the people but denied as cruel. Deportation is a solution too, but that's also cruel. If we can't keep them from coming in, we need to be tough about getting them out. BTW, none of this addresses the terrorist issue.
  8. BTW, I forgot to mention Venture needs to get a haircut. What the heck is he thinking with that mess on his head?
  9. The Democrats mock the wall, yet support illegal immigration, and all the freebies that they can supply to illegals as well. They're offering no solutions to illegal immigration at all. They want more of it. I watched all of your videos, twice, but I didn't see a single alternative offered that would be a real solution. Perhaps you could point out the real solution offered by anyone in the videos. I must've missed it. I don't get the impression anyone in the videos is really concerned about illegals, sealing our border or American national security at all.
  10. Against a wall, yes. Against putting a stop to illegals and protecting the border, no! Why is it people who mock the wall seem to be for porous borders, illegal immigrants and weak national security? I never hear any of them offering any solution to the problem. I do hear them mocking people who do want solutions to the problem though.
  11. A wall will not be practical, cost effective or a real solution to the problem, but at least it is being proposed by people who want to find a solution to the problem. The people against the wall want to perpetuate the problem even further. Maybe the solution is getting tougher on people who are supporting illegal immigration.
  12. He was a great boxer. The man himself had some issues.
  13. Why do you keep saying it's the future like it's a good thing? If you could go back in time to 1950 and show people the America of 2015 telling them it's the future and they should accept it, I think you would find they would start doing a lot of things to prevent it from happening.
  14. They have always been liars. Now we have proof. http://drrichswier.com/2015/08/06/snopes-com-ceo-arrested-on-charges-of-fraud-and-corruption/
  15. Actually, you can just cock the hammer and see if it has the transfer bar in it already. If not, it can be modified for free.
  16. I think this is incorrect info. I believe the first Ruger's had three screws and did not have the safer transfer bar system in them. If you have an old three screw model, Ruger will convert it to a transfer bar system, free of charge. I think all of the newer 2 screw models already have the transfer bar system in them. Contact Ruger with the serial # of the gun to find out if it needs to be done. I know many people who had theirs done, but I know a few who did not. It's an option.
  17. I have 5 revolvers and this one is my favorite. Ruger Police Service Six in stainless with fixed sights and 4" Bbl in .357 Mag. Got it in 1979 and have put over 1000 rounds through it. Still looks and shoots like new.
  18. My friends Dad was in the Army in WWII in Europe and Italy. The man is in his 90's now and you would think he's 70. He's thin, drives his car all over, walks, volunteers at the senior center, lives alone, cooks for himself and others (he's 2nd gen Italian), very articulate with a sharp mind, has about 12 grand kids and close to 20 great grand kids living in central PA and visits them a couple times a year. One thing I notice though is he has trouble accepting the reality of our times. He was a union man when he worked and still thinks the Democrats are great, but nobody is perfect. LOL!
  19. Bernie's relevance is as an indicator of how far the Democrats will go with Socialism. Bernie is just stupid enough to preach it thinking that will get him elected. Every election from now on will show how much farther left the Dems will go until they achieve total Socialism. It's incremental.
  20. I love the look and feel of the Kimber Montana. A friend has one in .300 WSM and the felt recoil is very mild compared to many 300 Mags I've fired. It has a great trigger too.
  21. All of the above considered, I still want one.
  22. Every man is entitled to his opinions. Opinions do not effect hunting. Policy does. And hunting policy should only be based on facts presented by wildlife biologists. Nobody should condemn another man's opinion without asking for the reasons behind them. He may supply you with some info you've never considered before. That should at least be taken as a need for some more research into the subject prior to condemning the opinion because it contrasts with yours. Expecting all hunter's to fall in line, lockstep with the most vocal, or aggressive ones, is asking for a totalitarian regime. Just because you are right about an issue does not give you the right to force it upon everyone else against their will. Take a course called Salesmanship 101. The same applies to anyone with an objection to trophy hunting. Things aren't what they appear and the enemies of hunting are selling a false narrative about it. There needs to be a constant correction about the lies in the narrative every time it comes up. You can't make it into anything other than what it is.
  23. I think it's spelled Hatsan. Is this it? Made in Turkey and gets good reviews.
