Didn’t have any luck with the birds today, but it sure was nice not have the hordes of nats. I did have a few b1 bombers(flies) bounce off my bold head other then that it was a pleasant hunt.

There cute little buggers. When I nuisance trapped they where always fun to catch in attics. Get mama out of the way then the babies. All box trapped and released.

Looks like I’m going in blind tomorrow. I haven’t heard or seen any birds yet. It’s snow, sleet & rain but supposed to be in the 60’s tomorrow and overcast.

I’ve been using old shovels for the .22’s. But picked a set of these I forgot what type of steel it is AR1500? But it’s supposed to be able to handle my 3006 will see.

Came up to my place late last night rained the whole way up. Now snow flurries and a lot of mud. I’m going to try and scout around later.

I agree a good old beating was normal back in the day and necessary both given and getting. Now just says “I’m going to kick your azz after school” would mark you a bully and probably get you arrested for verbal Abuse.

I'm not looking to start an argument with you. but what's the difference if it's a 61/2 month old button buck or a doe? I've eaten both and they taste the same "tender" I like venison.I hate when i'm talking to someone and they say what does venison taste like,venison is venison beef is beef. oh and i hope i "catch a turkey" this week -
The problem i have with the block is the slugs and snails eat it.Last year a big fat woodchuck kept eating it.I haven't had one in my house since i cleaned up and sealed everything.The guy i bought it from didn't seem to mind them being in the house it was nasty.

Heading up to my place this weekend for the turkey opener. So I’m getting my fix before then. Chicken Marsala,grandma and a regular.

I think the Germans have a slightly better selection of sausage then the polish. If you get a chance try some bauernwurts it's awesome.

I made one and it worked great.The problem for me is i'm not up the fulltime and the smell from the dead mice was nasty.I also used a peanut butter jar instead of the roller.
