Meh. He didn't give the squirrel mouth-to-mouth.

I have to credit her mother for this one. Back in the day, she owned a bar & restaurant and the karate school's owner was her beer delivery guy. Her son tried TKD for a while, but that school taught nowhere near the level of actual martial arts as this school. I couldn't be more pleased with what this school has given my daughter!

Thank you! She recently discovered team sports in field and ice hockey, and loves them, but I/we are making sure she sticks with this. Her potential is enormous.

I really wasn't sure what to expect with this one. Hazy, dark orange color with a medium foamy head. You get that familiar EQ juice thing up front, but it quickly gives way to a drier, piney and bitter taste on the backend. Your sweet flower has a dark side too! I'm down with that.

This is like a tangerine and pineapple wrestling match on your palate. Another solid IPA from Foam weighing in at 6.8% ABV.

Nice! Does the new "connection" allow for greater load bearing use or something else?
-
Impressive group of barrel-aged stouts from that brewer. I need to try some of those!
-
WOWOWOWOW! That is a sick flights lineup! And I'm diggin that Ommegang goblet.
-
Wait, you had your pick of that ridiculous beer menu of barrel-aged whale stouts and opted for a plain ol' Guiness?
-
Yes, I've seen nomad's pics from FL. Those bastids clearly violated my copyrights!

What in the actual @#$% !

After dinner 9% pastry stout from Foam. Thinner profile than my preferred imperials, but the vanilla, coconut and cocoa notes all coat the palate. Good one. Now please pass the chocolate cake!

Best representation of an IPA with Galaxy hops. Pours a perfectly hazy tangerine color with a white creamy head. You get a smoothie-like mouthfeel with just the right amount of bitterness on the backend. 7.8% ABV from Hill Farmstead.

Spaghetti and clams, lasagna, shrimp scampi, fresh baked salmon, fish fry, etc, etc. I love all kinds of seafood so it's no big sacrifice. So of course I totally forgot this past Friday and scarfed down a full plate of chicken parmigiana!

Let's start with a fresh 7% tropical IPA from Foam. Fantastic!

Thanks to Mr. & Mrs. Aboa for making this pic a beer dream come true! Great to see you again in Saratoga for a pour.

Thank you! Here is her cert:

Thank you! Master wanted to bring her up in November, but the Institution had never given a black belt to a student under age 13 before. Her birthday was on Wednesday. :)
-
After 6 years of training, my 13 yo daughter finally earned her black belt yesterday! Making the ceremony even sweeter was that her primary instructor was also promoted; he specifically waited for 9 months after being told he was clear to advance so that they would be promoted together! Great week for her: birthday on Wednesday, surprise visit from my Mom, sister and her little cousins on Friday, then the surprise promotion to black belt yesterday. Funniest part was she had a bad headache, felt nauseous and wanted to leave class before the belt ceremony because she had no clue what was about to happen! I thought the Master was going to have a heart attack right there!!

Perfect timing on the photo bomb. Good one, TF!

Introducing my sister to KBS.

I think this is my favorite EQ brew. Maybe. More "research" is needed!

Celebrating my daughter's black belt promotion and sharing some beers with my sister. This sour is phenomenal, aboa!
