Sitka Gear My review
Jdubs replied to Engraver99's topic in Hunting Gear Reviews and Gear Discussions
More time on stand equals more opportunity to harvest deer. Finding what works 'for you' sometimes isn't easy. Now you're set. You'll have this gear for years to come and cost will eventually be irrelevant. I bought a pricey Arc'teryx hard shell for hiking because it was the best I could find to fit my needs. Scouring online for a sale price was tough, but I did much better than the $500 retail tag. Now I wear it year-round, hiking and casually. One of my best purchases ever. I can promise you that price was the furthest thing from my mind standing on a summit in -20/25* wind chills. The quality has proven itself many times over to me. -

Nice! Buy once, cry once. -
Notice any difference from the 2017? Where does this one fall on your favorites list?

The current laws need teeth to put the scumbags out of business, but some of these proposals would surely put even the reputable employers out of business. Specifically, 1. Requiring a CDL with passenger endorsement for driving any limo capable of carrying 8 or more people. A typical stretch limo carries 10 passengers and the driver only needs a Class E license. I would imagine that most chauffeurs could not or would not achieve a CDL to drive such vehicles thus leading to large job losses. 2. Eliminate the seatbelts exemption. Really? How would this be enforced? Are they going to ticket all the passengers or just the driver if any of the passengers refuse to comply? This is absurd. 3. $120 fee per DOT inspection. Ridiculous money grab by the state. That would cost the carriers $240 per vehicle per year and adds to an already high cost of doing business in NY. This money would be better spent on vehicle maintenance and ultimately would be passed into passengers anyway. The Schoharie crash was absolutely horrific and never should have happened. Is the solution really to wipe out all of the reputable carriers? To implement all of Cuomo's new regulations would have a great impact on future safe rides routinely given to wedding parties, prom kids and groups who want to go out and have a good time without worrying about drinking and driving.

"Rolling coffins"? You have no clue what you're talking about. Just trolling, as usual. Getting a stretched SUV limo onto a lift is no different than driving a school bus onto a lift. Go ahead, ask me how I know...

It's 9 o'clock somewhere!

Wicked Ridge Warrior Ultra-Lite. I stole mine for $256, but they were selling back in October for $349 online. Heck of a package.

Meh. Drop 4 feet for all I care. I have plenty of food, toilet paper and beer to ride anything out.

Drinked, drank and drunk! That's a pretty good one too.

Feeling a little crazy and popped open an IPA instead of a stout.

More where that came from.

Nighty nite! Good work!

Capping off the day and weekend with one of my all-time favorites.

Tough to follow the 25th, but this dark chocolately stout will do.

This warms up nicely by the fire.

You are on a roll tonight.

I saw your posts too Paula, but no way was I quoting them!

I was wondering how this thread made it 6 pages. Now I know!

This was just posted on their fb page. I hadn't planned on going today, but dayum! So many great choices the only sure bet is that I would definitely need a ride home!

It's 5 o'clock somewhere. Here's the current tap list at Mohawk Taproom & Grill in Scotia.
