At first glance I thought the thread title was "Beers". Oh well, carry on.

You could call him House because he's as big as one!

Happy Birthday! Dilly, Dilly!!!

Bunch of stuff that needs a good home! My AR days were done with stupid un-SAFE. Everything except the ammo is available for cash locally or a USPS MO if mailed out ($5 Priority shipping on sights and holsters, $2 1st class for everything else). I'm in Saratoga County and willing to meet anyone reasonably around the area. Open to trading ammo for 9mm brass cased FMJ (prefer WWB), but not aluminum cased stuff or reloads. If any of you guys reload, I have a whole bunch of once-fired pistol caliber brass and 5.56 brass. Held onto it with the intention of reloading, but never got around to buying a press kit. Noveske flip-up BUIS, $150. These are made by Troy Industries and branded with the Noveske logo. Practically new and direct from the factory. Noveske QD end plate, $18. New. Noveske single stage AR trigger, $20. New. This was taken off a factory Noveske rifle and would be an upgrade to any crappy single stage trigger from a grab bag LPK. Mossie Mount, $50. New. I'm not sure if Battle Comp still sells these or not. It is a weapon light mount that attaches to a standard fixed front sight post so the weapon light (TLR-1, Surefire X300, etc) is just behind the barrel at 12 o'clock thus eliminating barrel shadow. It's good kit. Spikes ST-T2 heavy buffer, $25 ea. One is new, one used. If you have a carbine upper, this buffer will help to reduce the felt recoil. Raven Concealment Phantom holster for M&P 9/40, $50. Used. I no longer have the pistols, but this was the best OWB holster I ever used. The Phantom does a great job tucking the pistol against the body. Blade-Tech OWB holster with Tek-Lok for M&P 9/40, $30. Used. Adjustable retention, easy on/off your belt. Butler Creek Neoprene slings, $8 ea. Practically new. I bought them with the intention of making them into backpack straps, but they weren't an ideal fit in that role. Scope rings, $10. New. Included with my Tikka rifle, but they didn't fit my 30mm scope. Ammo: 45 - 234 rds of WWB FMJ; 50 Federal HST, 34 Speer Gold Dot 40 - 30 Federal HST and at least 200 WWB FMJ (I dumped these from the boxes into an ammo can) 357SIG - 20 Speer Gold Dot, 50 WWB FMJ I still have a couple more containers to sort through and will update the list with additional items later.

We'll need Federal funding for this. Maybe some t-shirts, hats and a secret handshake too. Just to be sure.

If Biz went with loafers for his Friday beer, then I'm wearing steel toe boots! Super smooth 25th Anniversary imperial stout from Left Hand packs a punch at 12.1%. Can't believe this isn't barrel-aged, but it carries a 'Best By' date of 7/1/25 so I'm going to cellar some. Good stuff, Cheers!

Awesome! All those young lads and lassies will be learning from a great hunter!!

Those hackers can take our wives, but they can never take our Beer thread!! Tried this last night, it was OK, but nothing to get excited about.

"Millie Pierce loaned him the rope..."

Oh, I got that part of your statement, but do not understand the relevance for thanking Jesus for it. Why? What is so significant about where a post falls in an online thread? Anyone who hits "Submit Reply" enough times will hit the top of a page sometime. Spammers do it all the time! It's a non-event.

I have no idea what this even means.

Looks like the same scat I found on a log last weekend. I figured coon, but now I can see that it was jmark. Thanks moog!

Been a while since I enjoyed one of these. Cheers!

Which hunting weapon and season do you like the best ?
Jdubs replied to Hunter007's topic in General Chit Chat
I'm still fairly new at deer hunting so it's tough to call a favorite. I had success with the rifle last season and feel very comfortable with that, but my first experience with the xbow last year opened me up to a whole new hunting experience. I suspect this will become my favorite as I become more familiar that weapon platform. -
I wouldn't. You have a good idea of what you're after. Why risk stinking up the joint with your scent before game day?
-
Dick's Gun Grabbers decision this year to pay lobbyists to pursue gun control laws ended my purchases there. I'm not about to give any money to anti-2A companies, to put it nicely. Cabela's, your own LGS, those are the places I'd shop at for hunting needs.
-
Legally and safely I agree with. It's a great message though, simple and to the point. Hunt your own hunt. wolc, you off your meds again? You missed the whole point of Buckmaster's excellent post.

Flowers singlehandedly killed the first drive and still sucks. Too many dumb penalties and mental lapses on O and it cost SB. Jax has a legit D to boot so it all has to be taken in perspective.
-
Huh? He finished over 100 with a touch and shed tacklers like rag dolls. Flowers and the other OL stiffs gave too many defenders a free pass to the backfield or he might have put up 150. Legit.
-
Were you able to get his xbow dialed in good with the Bolt? What broadheads are you using (I forgot to ask you last week)?
-
Watching the Saquon Barkley highlights. He's the real deal.

9/8, but is that the same buck as the one in the 9/2 pic?
