  1. So looking at red dot scope’s for a new gun and have never had one or used one or have experience with one doing some research but would appreciate anybody’s opinion on them specifically what works best for a Turkeys gun set up.   Would appreciate any advice or info

Can only speak about deer set up & it is awesome. I have a Leopold red dot scope & it is awesome.
I dropped my buck opening day!
Bottom line technology helps. I mean ya gotta know how to shoot but damn it gives you confidence.

  2. Bottom line, anything that will promote more hunters in the field is a good thing! I only bow hunt and I don’t pass judgment on any crossbow hunters.

Irrespective of the fact that shooting a crossbow is was easier - who really cares?

IMHO in less than 10 years - bow hunters will be the old guys & crossbow hunters will dominate.

It is what it is. Everyone just has to relax with this argument.

  3. They really are. We are trying a experiment right now where we aren’t letting them on the couch or in the bed..... not my idea nor do I support it.... that being said my wife is now laying on the floor with them

Hah. As to bed, now off limits.
But my 1st GSP, our bed was his bed.
As to couch, my wife gave up - Zorro officially owns the couch!

  4. We have a 1.5 and 2.5 year old. Hands down one of the best breeds I’ve ever owned. Definitely a Velcro dog, they never leave your side. Wife loves them so much she got us on a list for a 3rd pup and sent out deposit

“Velcro dog” - absolutely true. I wouldn’t have it any other way!

  5. Awesome you got two.

    This is my 2nd GSP.

Thinking about getting another one soon. Gonna be my 1st female GSP.

Figure my boy Zorro would really enjoy a new addition to the family and hopefully give him a shot in the arm (leg) & maybe get another year or two.

Man, GSPs are such a special breed.

  6. It has the same launch control as the F1 cars.
I didn't use it, but the owner did.WOW.
Been in fast cars on track at Watkins Glen and Lime Rock as a passenger with a pro driving. Drove a relative's Porsche's a few times on the street and borrowed a clients to run into town.
Totally different league. True super car.
Stupid fast and stupid brakes to stop it at ridiculous distances.

I don’t care if it’s a Ferrari or Porsche. Those cars are designed for manual transmission.
    Paddle shifters are lame.
Granted the car will always shift better than you but come on, how can ya drive that beast in automatic.
I have a 911 and no way would I drive an automatic one.
Unfortunately, becoming harder to find them in manual.
Btw - love Watkins Glenn, that track is insane.
    Limerock is cool too.
NJMS - thunder track is cool.
Used to go to many track events.
    Done.
Rather hunt and enjoy my property.

  7. Great season.

1 buck via bow & 1 buck with my .270. Freezer is full! Learned to wait to find your deer (have damn patience & don’t jump deer) unless you drop them - which I did with my 270.

Amazing the difference 1 season can be from the next.

Last year sucked especially hearing my mother passed away while in a tree stand.

I know for sure she was with me this year.
