I say, "Ma'am, yes they do", and explained the reasoning the DEC is doing it today. She still didn't believe me until she fired up the computer. She was pissed, that nobody from the DEC told them.

In my travels around Jefferson County I'm seeing way more fawns than I normally do. I cannot remember a summer where I've seen so many fawns about. I'm also seeing much more road kill fawns as well. Is it the same where you are?

Has anyone heard when licenses will go on sale? I spoke with an outdoor writer, he says the DEC is keeping quiet about the date for a soft first day of sales. The DEC is worried that the new system will crash with the normal first day rush. I was told it was either the 4th or 11th but nobody really knows. Have you heard anything?

We have an account with Still Spirits and sell them all the time. Just sold a Turbo 500 about 10 days ago. They have other uses such as purified water or purfume making which allows us to sell them. The government really doesn't care if you make your own. BUT if you try to sell it, then that gets their attention. We do not keep records of who buys them nor are we required to. Once it walks out the door, there is no way for the government to track you down. A receipt just says how much you spent, not what you purchased. Remember, if you do decide to make your own. Always use an electric heat source. Its safer.
