  1. I have the S5, but haven't had any issues texting anyone. My only complaint is the damn battery dies so fast! The battery itself is
Had the same problem. Got fed up with it, just went and got a 9s. Works like champ.

  2. Yeah true, hopefully I can fill it with a doe or 2. We'd just like to have some kind of program to see bigger bucks each year
Where I hunt in 3H and 3K, we have antler restrictions, but before the state started it we started. We have been doing it for over 15 years now, the bucks (both horns and bodies) have grown tremendously. We have now started voluntarily no one shoots anything unless they can positively see 4 on one side. Anyone wanting venison shoots a doe, and the results have been overwelmingly positive.

  3. I’ve hunted them in Florida, Georgia and South Carolina. I’ve killed a bunch of them, if they’re over 50lbs give them away or leave them for the coyotes. Never hunted one over bait just free range. Florida was the best hunting I’ve found, lots of public land and plenty of hogs.

If you’re doing it to fill the freezer, shoot a round of 3D then stop at the grocery store it will taste way better. If you want quality meat find a local pig farmer that sells hogs to individuals and it will be the best pork you’ll ever eat. If you want to have fun and shoot some hogs than have at it it’s a blast.

I'm from Florida and agree with this 100%.

  4. Really stupid question, but how do they define "resident" and "non-resident"? State or WMU? If the latter, I've been throwing money away for a few years now.
Don't feel bad, I'm also a non resident and have about 7 pp, and this year no DMP again.

  5. I have no idea , also don't forget the bears, I once heard that the bears reduce the population at a higher percentage or rate than the coyotes do.

But I am very curious about this as well.

  6. Sprayed all the beans last night. I always hit them later than i wanted too. Should have done it a couple weeks ago. They get too tall and not being planted in rows, the wheeler tires snap some stems. Hand sprayed the beans inside the fence. Tonight will broadcast a big bulb blend into them. A little earlier than normal for me but im booked for a long while out not. packing and moving in to our new home.
Its so tempting to pull this fence down and let the deer in to feed, but this plot needs to be saved for late season only. They can have the other 2.

They look great, what did you spray them with?

  7. I'm sorry I don't post more often but times have been really tough with no money coming my way and I just had a grand son born that has serious issues. He could use some prayers if anyone wants. He needs heart and stomach surgery as he has 2 faulty valves and his stomach isn't connected to his intestines, so when he is fed, they have to pump it back out afterwards. Prayers are needed for this baby beyond my issues for sure. More to come in a couple days and thanks for any and all prayers.

Prayers forwarded for strength and guidance during these trying times. Keep up with the positive attitude and pushing forward.

  8. Stoeger has good reviews for decent quality at a reasonable price.
My Stoeger 3500 is nice, good work horse type gun, shoots everything no problem. Then I bought my Versa Max Remington, runs like a champ, little heavier than the Steger so 3.5 inches aren't felt as bad.

Then I bought my Franchi, Infinity, shoots everything, is lighter than my Remy, and the recoil is ev r n better because if is from Benelli.

If I'm only buying one, the Franchi is it.

  9. I love soybeans, My favorite species to plant. I plan to incorporate some in fall plots as well this year. I have just never had the ability to have a late season stand. But this year I have almost an acre fenced off. And So far it is doing what it is supposed to do.

    Looks great

Please advise what type of fencing you have used, and if that is enough to keep the deer off until later in the year.

  10. I'm not a farmer, and am trying to learn as well, since this is my first year with the soybean attrmpt.

I was under the impression that a thick spreading would be needed as well to insure at least a majority survival rate since the other usual animals will be eating a good part that is planted.

  11. I have owned I-12's the predecessor to the Affinity and the Intensity guns.  These were pre-Benelli/Beretta ownership.  They are reliable guns and the recoil action is hard to beat for running clean on high volume shooting like water fowling can be.  Good luck with it.
I have a 12 Guage post Benelli Infinity, shoots awesome, shoots everything.
