Hunters are not true hunters unless they track down that which they shot. Some seem to think that it should fall as soon as it is hit, and if it doesn't they missed. Shame really, some big bucks have never been recovered due to that mistake. I know at a ranch 20 mins down the road from me they will spend days tracking down a buck until it is found, nothing is left to assume it was a miss.
