I have 2, 30-30/20ga and a 223/20ga. Great camp guns.

We have not seen bare ground since Dec---still 18-20in on the ground..Glens Falls area...enjoy

I think the real reason is that most of the hunters are not out in the woods befor 9am ;D

some Traditions are always the same, we have noticed that the majority of the deer shot on our lease are all shot post 9am...not sure why ;)

My partner and I only have one tradition that we always follow-that is to have at least one scotch and water prior to dinner....every day that we are in camp.maybe "one" after dinner too... ;D

Boy, just read the article,(being new to the forum). But I wish I had never traded my Mod 700--.243 loved that gun.never had a problem taking deer with it...oh well
