The 14-pound brown hit a "big stick bait."

The fish was hooked near Long Point and weighed 14-pounds. The boy was fishing at the time with his grandfather, Skip Christofferson and uncle, Doug Christofferson.

The boy is an avid fisherman and hunter, according to the grandfather.
