The ECO sounds like an idiot! Saltwater license was done away with the year after it was invented. I bought my lifetime SWL thinking the price will only increase and the DEC sent me my $ back when they nixed it.

Both tags show up together. Not sure about the driver's lic. I know that DMV can show your hunting privs on your driver's lic but I don't think DEC will honor it in the woods.

Yes. I get my back tag, buck tag, either sex tag, bear tag, 3 turkey tags (1fall 2 spring? not sure dont hunt turkey bc I dont know how) in the mail every year. good reminder to start getting ready! I still spend $10 a year for 2 doe tags, but thats it. I bought my LT lic in 2010 and missed the free dpm's.

I forgot to mention, and I am sure many here will agree, its so nice not to think about it and have your tags just show up sometime in August or September.

I have the Milwaukee vest and heated jacket. I use the jacket as my outer layer with warm layers under. Before getting the vest, always had it on high and it was way better than nothing. Battery life was good enough to last from an hour before first light until i got out of the tree, usually around 1. Never ran out of battery (12v fuel). I got the vest this past season (thanks babe!) and i wear it between my warm layers and my jacket. never had to go above mid heat level and was roasty toasty. my hands were another story lol. Vest fits a bit snug, but I think that is part of the reason it works so well. Air is a poor conductor of heat and the outer layer traps the heat in. Love it. Highly recommend it! If someone reading this does not have one...get one!
