    Sunday says slight chance of rain with 15-20 wind. I remember when this forum BLEW UP with those exact conditions! Yup, I will be out there! Start out in the hang on from dark till about 930-10 then still hunt a bit. Possibly get back in the tree for the afternoon, arthritis depending...spousal arthritis that is lol.

    Down here the island was always shotgun only but you can use a ML now. Never made the switch to ML because, as mentioned before, my Savage 220 is amazing. 1-1/4" groups at 100yds. Accurate, great trigger. Less recoil than the 212 but almost identical kinetic energy. I have a 3-9x40 on it and love this setup. Shotgun opens here on Sunday (1/5/20) very much looking forward to it.

    Any permanent structure will increase taxes. a permanent structure that is "inhabitable" will do so even more, ie house versus garage. My suggestion is to go with a mobile home.

    I was looking for a wheel gun. I really like the Ruger Super Redhawk Alaskan. Nice to be able to stop a charging bear. But now that I know the snake guns are back....I always wanted a Python with a 4" barrel. Hope they become available in the larger calibers.

    When my first son was born (15yrs ago) I took the blanket he was wrapped in home from the hospital and gave it to the dog to let him know about the baby. When the baby finally came home, he always layed down near him. I miss that dog
