Winchester model 94 30-30 AE haven’t decided 100 percent yet

  3. I remember a buddy asking me to go snowshoe rabbit hunting .. So he brings his dog and we hunt , never see a fricken thing . on the way back to the truck I unload my gun , he goes to unload his and he never even loaded it !!
  4. Dunno about the lens , this is just a threaded ring
  5. Look at the pic I posted above .., it’s NOT the EYE pc ,,, it’s the one that says “ OBJECTIVE BELL”
  6. Again, it’s NOT the one on the eye piece ... it’s the opposite end ,,, see pic above objective bell
  7. Again , it’s NOT the rings that the scope mounts to the gun... it’s the threaded round ring on the end of the scope itself .. there is one you put your eye against when shooting , and another on the opposite end of the scope ,,, this is the one that was loose
  8. Bought some new bolts , got it all sighted in .. brought the crossbow home and noticed the scope ring was loose , not the one you put your eye against but the opposite end. I thightened it but wondered if this would change my POI ? I can’t imagine it would but I’m not really sure what this threaded ring does
  9. Yea I hear ya.. this year was tough for me . Killed a nice doe opening day , the. Two days later went to get one for a family I am friends with . Shot a doe and hit it but never found it ..I did all the right things tracking it. I had some blood and hair .. Think I hit her in the leg.. I waited , followed the blood, it stopped ..I made three passes thru the woods from one end to the other , up and down wicked steep ravines ... I spent almost three hours ..i left and went back the next morning and spent over two hours covering every inch I could ... Sweating like a pig up and down super steep banks , every brush pile and thicket .. Never found her ... it still bothers me more than the ones I’ve killed
  10. Well I shoot left handed , the bolt action is fine but I’d like a semi so you think they arnt as accurate ?
  11. So one sensor is in my fridge the other in my chest freezer, the camera is cheap, I have the app on my ph and can open it anytime and see the temps , also hear if the alarm is going off
  12. I have a wireless camera WiFi focused on my wireless freezer thermometer I can see and here if theres an issue
  13. Agree... I’m not seeing or hearing usual hunting pressure . my cams were busy before crossbow , not much since except after hours
  14. Like to try a small food plot. Would clover just keep coming back and not have to be reseeded ? I have a compact tractor but no tiller or plow any way to do this without more equipment
