  1. Stuffed pork loin. Prosciutto, salami, provolone and parmesan cheeses, spinach, olive oil, garlic, assorted seasonings. Rolled it up then naturally wrapped with bacon. Headed onto the pellet grill...
  2. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Winchester-Model-61-Inner-Magazine-Tube-Replacement-Win-Part-Number-6961/392182073138?epid=2121505230&hash=item5b4fdf8732:g:QeQAAOSwn91bwMee
  3. Did you try numrich? Ebay is always a good place to look. Is yours a 22mag?
  4. I think thats called the win-tuff stock. They weren’t made for long. Quite collectable these days.
  5. I posted the 9422M when I first purchased it. I have installed the new rear sight and im waiting for good weather to sight it in. Tonight I decided to take out the model 61 for a little comparison. The model 9422 came out in 1972 and the action is nearly identical to the older 61. They are truly works of art. The triggers are excellent on both rifles. Its almost as much fun to fondle and look at them as it is to shoot them. Like the old adage goes...they don’t make em like they used to!
  6. Id keep driving it until the wheels fall off.
  7. Im somewhat of a S&W nerd...those are quite sought after these days. The new ones dont have the same “feel” to them.
  8. They had federals there as well. Im shocked they went that fast the season is over. They’re was probably 50 boxes there.
  9. I bet its a model 63 22 lr. Beautiful cat too
  10. Reports are pretty good all around on those scopes. Thats my favorite power range for hunting scopes. Lighter weight and the look more “trim” on the gun.
  11. There was a big pile of those slugs at bass pro in auburn this afternoon.
  12. I have a corned venison simmering in some Guinness on the stove, they should pair well.
  13. Total crap year. Terrible drought which affected my crops not to mention all the other obvious BS. I did shoot an 8 point and two does, wife shot her first deer (button buck) so good on the hunting aspect. Covid had affected so many businesses around here that are now dead, family losing jobs etc. SAD.
  14. Thats an amazing gift! Thats a hard pill to swallow and i wish your family the best. My father is the same age, I couldn’t imagine that. Merry Christmas.
  15. You pretty much need to go there every day and scope it out.
  16. Third deer for me. I was holding out for another buck but it didnt happen.
  17. Bass pro in auburn had a pile of it the other day. .223 and .556 loads as well.
