  1. Nice looking buck. Big tree there in the background as well!
  2. Im definitely not a buck snob so to speak. My family and the few people that hunt on my entire road all practice qdma(or whatever its called now). The last few years the buck size has just exploded. Basically all the land between crop fields is good thick cover and deer just hangout and get fat.
  3. Hes prime for that taking id say. That would be an awesome mount. Put an eye patch on him and hes Long John Silver lol
  4. Had a few of these younger bucks as well.
  5. The first and fourth pic are the same deer. He has a split G2 forming and stickers at the bases. He looks more impressive through the scope. Can kind of be seen at this angle
  6. Another good night out back. The giant was last and didnt give me time for a good pic tonight.
  7. Looks fantastic! I live maybe 15 minutes from them. They do great work, i had them cerakote my winchester 1300. Mossy oak bottomland is the best camo pattern ever. Remington made their 700 bdl completely done in bottomland for a few years in the early 90s. I have been searching for Years to find one with no luck. My brother has one chambered in .270 Winchester, very cool gun.
  8. Oh really. Im gonna get on ebay right now. The forum deserves a higher quality picture!
  9. My brother in law is already eye balling it lol.
  10. I need to find a way to mount the phone behind the spotting scope so i can focus the scope better.
  11. Never knew about the fan method. Makes sense to me. I need to try this.
  12. Gets me freakin fired up! No doubt he will, its his destiny lol. My wife will probably kill him haha
  13. The Big Show graced me with his presence again tonight...drool.
  14. Looks like an unbelievable childhood. Very cool pictures
  15. Lookin good. Photos through a spotting scope aren’t easy at all.
  16. Pretty straightforward deal so long as the flywheel doesn’t need to be replaced. Looks like a kubota, we have 3 of them and a rtv 900 diesel side by side. They’re good machines.
  17. Nice fat doe. I love the model 37, and 16 gauge is cool to boot. My 20 gauge 37 kicks like a 12 gauge haha. Not a beginners gun thats for sure.
  18. Wolc, i think the older Bushnells are a different animal than the newer offerings, even the japanese made scopes (3200 elite etc...) 15 years of use from that bushnell banner isn’t bad really. Weaver can be a good option if you look around. However below 200 there isnt much to pick from that’s quality.
  19. This about sums it up. Shotguns are hard on scopes. Cheap ones wont last. They generally wont hold zero for too long. I tried a simmons scope in a 12 gauge wingmaster every time i shot it the poi was different. Look around on ebay, lots of used scopes to be had on there.
