So, with all the “New Truck!” threads I hopped online looking around to see what’s available. Of course I found the exact configuration i wanted in a color i have never seen and I love it. Naturally i found myself at the dealership later that afternoon. After a lengthy test ride we settled on a number i think was fantastic considering where we are today in the vehicle market. Its a 2019 1500 LT, 5.3 with the 8 speed transmission Z71 4x4 13K miles. Loaded with options, its the double cab with the standard box. The color is what GM calls havana brown.

Only if there is olives.

There are many bald eagles that live in the Montezuma wildlife refuge. There are a few nests a few miles from my house right off 31 in Congels compound. I see them feeding on road kill deer. The juveniles look really cool with all the spots on them.

Mine is a NY gun. Made in 2011 according to the sticker on the box. Mine came with two 8 round Remington magazines. I looked up the sku number and apparently it was a distributor special and about 900 were produced. Im new to the 1911 game, from my reading the 7 shot is standard magazine capacity for the .45acp guns. The three dot sights are much better than the standard government model sights. I grabbed 300 rounds from bass pro yesterday, cant wait to test it out.

Well i finally pulled the proverbial trigger on a new to me 1911. Picked up this R1 off gunbroker for a very reasonable price. One of the early production guns. 2011 model, I guess its a distributor special. Factory green finish looks better in person. Comes with all the factory paperwork in box. I have always liked Remington products and im happy to have this one. Unfortunately due to presidents day monday the clerks office is closed. So ill have to wait until Tuesday to pick it up.

Bass pro today has .45 acp ball for 27 per 50. I bought a bunch. Not a bad price today. I need to feed my new to me 1911 regardless of cost!
