Pricey is an understatement. Mossberg charges $161 new. But of course mossberg doesnt have any "in stock". I call bs on that Sent from my SM-G930VL using Tapatalk -
i read the rules and it would seem as thought this is okay on here. if i am wrong, please delete this thread admins! It's funny cuz I was just in there talking to the owner last week about bows and crossbows. Seems like good people. Sent from my SM-G930VL using Tapatalk

I live on the outskirts of Batavia. I think there is a trad shop in leroy but I've never been there so unsure. Sent from my SM-G930VL using Tapatalk

28" is my draw lenght as it is measured. The bow draws out to 29" and it is a 56" bow. I guess I should probably head to the local archery shop to get more information. I realize now this post was a little preemptive and I was simply overly excited to get back Into archery in Hope's that I'd have enough time before next year to practice and get my bearings back. Draw lenght is 28", weight at 28" is 45lbs. Unsure of center shot. That's a new term to me. I was a kid last time I used a bow so, for getting a lot. Sent from my SM-G930VL using Tapatalk

Hey all, now that my shotgun is sorted out and I have money set aside for my bow I need some insight. I plan on getting back into archery after a 15 year hiatus. I never hunted with a bow before and just need some pointers. I'll be using a recurve takedown bow if that means anything to ya. So that all being said, what spine arrows are a good place to start practicing with and then moving into the hunting aspect, what should I be looking at as far is arrow shafts and braodheads? I do appreciate it but there is another gentalman that has already sent one out. Thank you though. Sent from my SM-G930VL using Tapatalk

Yea looks identical. This was the only option for me at the time late last night so I kinda just went with it. More of a panic thing, trying to make sure I have things ready and all. Sent from my SM-G930VL using Tapatalk

I wonder if the numbers of new hunters is true and we just have a much larger abundance of people going out this year. I thought it was just "husbands getting extra tags" from thier wives and so on hah Sent from my SM-G930VL using Tapatalk

Hahah. It's TRUE! The walmart in batavia is EMPTY as far as slugs go. But I've been doing my shopping in Akron at natures prize. They usually have 9mm and most popular gauge/calibers in stock. Key word usually. Sent from my SM-G930VL using Tapatalk

It's just a bead sight which I'm fairly comfortable with but I will most likely be taking it to the gunsmith to be drilled and tapped for a red dot or what ever. Sent from my SM-G930VL using Tapatalk

Yall are great here, just gunna put that out there too. Some of the folks in the facebook page "nys hunters only" seem to be much less helpful. And my post got taken down from there after only a few minutes. Sent from my SM-G930VL using Tapatalk

Yea that would be ideal. Haha. It looks nice to boot. Sent from my SM-G930VL using Tapatalk

Now this may be a stupid question to ask here and please, admin, if not allowed delete this comment. This particular gun needs a new stock and I am quite broke now. Does anyone have a factory stock laying around they are willing to part with? I've checked online and the cheapest one I found was a 6 position m4 style stock which is fine on my ar platforms but I'd rather not have one on my shotgun. This one came with a pistol grip only. If there are any folks out around 8g that can help me out, please let me know. I'll be trying to learn how it fires regardless so maybe I'll feel comfortable with it the way it is but just wanted to out that out there and ask. Sent from my SM-G930VL using Tapatalk

I dont expect to be taking any game past 50 yards to be honest. I've never been in a scenario in which I've had to fake any past 100 yards. And that was a woodchuck that was destroying our property with holes. Sent from my SM-G930VL using Tapatalk

Yes sir, it is for deer Sent from my SM-G930VL using Tapatalk

well because it is a cheap walmart shotgun with a 19.75" sawed barrel that has no real way to mount sights on it. i only bought that one as a camping gun/go bag gun due to the availability of cartridge adapters. my guess is they simply don't care for cheap arms.

excellent, ill pick some up. I was just weary on the short barrel to be honest. i understand the basics of how shotguns function with certain loads but yea. thank you for the input! I appreciate it
