It's called early season.What I meant to say was this thread was going no where not the topic of crossbow's.

This topic is going no where.What does it matter if they do allow crossbow's in the early season,cause I/we could be in the same woods hunting small game w/shotguns if it's the noise that worries you then to bad.With that said I have not read any where the reason why you dont want them included after all it is only a single projectile.

In regard's to hunting I think NY should adopt some rule's/Reg's from Texas.A min spread of 13 inches or if you take/harvest this you cannot take another.I think it is 3 or 3 cant remember but if you take/harvest thats all.They also have different county limits/seasons

I guess qoutes are not workin.Do you fillet and smoke or season then smoke.The reason is I dont want to pay 5 bucks per fillet and that is what it sells for here.

I would like to start/learn how.I remember my Dad And uncle smoking Shad and Herrin but not sure how they did or what kind of wood they used in smoker.I do remeber the fish being a salty/smoky flavor it was very good.Anyone got some ideas?

Yes Sir.Texas is a gun toteing state.I have family in Spring and Sealy and the all have Gun's,My Brother inlaw say's it's a must have never know when or what you mite need it for,Our uncle is over the road driver and is allways packing/carrying.Did you Know that Texas want to be it's own country and would rather not have anything to do with the USA.
