    I was mostly being a wise ass!My Dad and his brother used to mostly disc their fields.They also did controlled burning on areas they wanted to be able for planting.They would get some pissed when they broke or chipped a blade/disc.It is nice to see some of the older ways of farming come back

    If I had to I would.I would just need afew basics to start a hand saw ax a knife a pot for cooking 1 cup some twine and a wool blanket nd afew clothes.The only modern thing I would miss is my radio.

    I cant say I agree with this You all are breaking the soil with discs no till to myself would be pouring seed atop the ground.Yes I know your not tilling plowing the soil but still sowing seed below the surface.

    Not sure if this helps but NY DEC has a project called rearing this gives one a chance of raising birds to be set free on certain lands.I have tried to post the information but wont post.Maybe someone could post info

    The one Ihave is propane Electric would be different I do have an electric fryer but not for a whole turkey.I will try peanut oil the worst thing possible will be pour the left over oil on brush pile if I do not like it

    What oil does everyone prefer for cooking or frying?For myself depends on what I am cooking I use mostly corn oil for frying/deep fat cooking.I ask because I was thinking of frying a whole turkey in the turkeyfryer and not sure what oil is best used that way

    Season chops with salt and pepper in a cast iron fry pan sear bothsides in oil and butter spread peanut butter on them and finish in the oven 325 about 12-15 mins in oven or until done. thickness/bone in or boneless will decide the amount of cooking time of chops .Very yummy this way

    Dude I give you some good dang credit for being able to live that close to your Girl's ex and posting pictures of his deer.It is tough I have to put up with my wifes ex as well but they have children together if not for their connection like that I would tell the guy to shit in his hat and wear it.

    If I can find time I would like to see if my Uncles cabin still exsists on lake Minerva,Icant tell you the name of the road cause aint been there in 25 years but do know was a dead end with a boat launch at the end

    I didn't plan this but the wife want's to go to the Hampton's,For the 2 of us that would be fine but want's to bring Mother Inlaw step daughter and grand daughter.Could be worse I guess they can shop explore and I will go fishing and drink my beer's.The one thing I will be bringing for shore is my sunglasses lol!

    Yea Biz I go to bed when the body say's its time.I have had some bad times mixing grapes and hops and that list is crazy.

    I think it is a nice piece of land from looking at the pictures.This will bring lots of enjoyment to you and your's.Is there a water/spring that you could convert to a small pond watering hole?The last picture reminds me of a spot that I used to hunt
