It's illegal and unethical .........

I am not really into Cross-bows but my youngest son was interested . He doesn't have the cash to buy one and I told him about Field Archer's review plus I saw a review in one of the magazines that had the bow rated high . It was $250 but the price was raised to $278.17 . I figured it would go up again so I ordered one with the thought that my son could pay me in installments ( or I would just give it to him ) . Total price with tax was $302.16 . Two days later it was delivered from Bowhunters Outlet in NYC which explained the extra tax . I put it together last week and hung it on a rack . Bought some extra bolts and rail lube at Dicks . Late yesterday afternoon I got it out along with a tripod and tried it out . Found that the scope wasn't tightened into the rings and fixed that . Shot it at 20 yards and made adjustments and then shot it at 30 yards . Was impressed with the accuracy and ease of consistency of hitting a 2 inch bullseye at 30 yards . Only took about 20 shots . Minimal practice needed to be accurate . I will have to give it a try sometime shooting off hand . Anyway , I was impressed with the accuracy of the Centerpoint Sniper 370 Crossbow and wouldn't even have given it a thought if it hadn't been for Field Archer's review . Not sure that I want to come over to "The Dark Side" .

Nothing worse than those mean little ground bees . They have gotten me a couple times in the past few years . Don't know they are there until you are right on top of them . Then it's too late !

Don't use your scope in place of Binos . Nothing scarier than having someone looking at you through a rifle scope !

I'm a day late with this . My wife's cousin came from Buffalo to stay a couple nights as I had gotten tickets fot tonight's Bills Practice in Pittsford . She purchase a Pork Loin Roast Saturday for me to Smoke Sunday . I asked why in heck she got the roast instead of a shoulder or butt and she said it was my fault because I hadn't gone in the store with her . I prepped the meat Saturday afternoon , put it in plastic wrap and the in the fridge . I also put up a canopy on the patio as rain was forecasted for Sunday . Got up at 5:45 Sunday and pre heated the smoker . Put the meat in at 6:30 , had some coffee , read the paper and went to church . Had breakfast with friends . Put more apple chips in the smoker and sprayed apple juice on the meat a few times the next couple hours . After 7 1/2 hours I placed the meat on tin foil and added some apple juice and wrapped it up . Back in the smoker for 3 hours and although it wasn't at 200 degrees , we were hungry and I took it out . Let it cool for only 15 minutes . Placed it on a large platter and pulled it apart with a couple forks . Meat fell right off the bone . Had it on burger buns and it was delicious . Used a little bit of Sweet Baby Ray Sauce on it . No complaints from anyone .

What irks me is to see someone with a full cart using a EBT card and then loading the groceries into an Escalade . Some of those run 70 grand !

I learned that I can't stand Hank Parker with his hawking products on every show . I cannot stand to listen to Hank . He sounds like a sha-zit salesman with a mouth full of samples !

I put Huntstand on my computer . I can get Land Boundaries in Livingston County but not for Wayne County . Otherwise , it is pretty neat . I started to put it on my phone . It asked about billing info and I quit . I have Verizion so I don't know if I would be charged if I used it .

I learned that you need to take a camera man along with you on a hunt . Otherwise you don't have anyone to Fist Bump with !

Is there a way to get the GPS coordinates on the corners of the properties ?

I chain my stands even on private property . The cables / chains and locks can be cut but it is still a deterrant .

We also have a place on Rt 21 to hunt . My son went to his ladder stand and some a-hole had removed the support bar . Found it tossed a few feet away . He replaced the bar and when he went back a couple days later the support bar was gone . There are 3 of us that are allowed to hunt this property so I don't know who would have done this . I told Matt to set up a trail cam but he never did . We also got permission to hunt a property on West Bloomfield Road in Mendon . Guys that had been hunting there for years didn't like more people hunting there . One or more of those jerks made some accusations about my son to the land owner . He was told to find another place to hunt . I told him to get his tree stands and he blew it off saying he would get them in the spring . Well , as I figured , only one out of three was to be bound . We walked all over the property . So , not only were these guys liars , they were thieves also !

I will be watching the Bills and the Jersey Giants in a few minutes . A lot of players out on the Bills . Gotta see what is left and how the new signed replacements pan out .

We have permission to hunt a property on Cambier Road in Marion/Palmyra area . My son put a two man stand up and opening day of gun season went to see this in the dark . I took pics a couple days later . his was on private and well over 200 yards from any dwelling . Whoever took the bottom section had no business being on the property !

I shot many woodchucks for a farmer on Lincoln Road in Walworth . Never got permission to deer hunt there due to "relatives hunt" . They did give me some potatoes and a jug of maple syrup as a thanks . I got rid of some varmints for another farmer in Walworth . Whenever I see him he tells me that he has lots of deer on the property but has never given me permission to hunt there . Allegedly his sons hunts there . I saw him last night and he mentioned lots of deer . I said I would be glad to help with the problem . That's the way the cookie crumbles !

I bought a new 2008 Honda Foreman in 2009 . I don't use it that much and the tires are almost like new . No Dry Rot yet . Those Zillas look pretty nice .
